How many go hunting on election day and never vote?

Why do you blame the president when it is your OWN elected officials that are to blame for ALL your complaints. Like Congress who writes the crap, and the Senate that can't find Pork with either greasy hand.
WE THE PEOPLE did not elect the best conservatives out there, because there are more liberals and moderates voting so we end up with RINOs and turncoats. So next time we should stick our heads up our respective A$$es and vote for someone who can't get elected or a Democrat, or just go hunting and forget to vote.
WE each have an obligation to this country if it is to remain as free as it is. Don't think so, try any other country, you'll be back.

You don't know what you are talking about. How do you like the way THAT sounds? OUCH! Obviously there is only ONE opinion in your world, I'll go back to mine, sorry if I offended you in ANY way, seriesly.

I didn't miss it because I read my "American Rifleman" and I also watched the Oprah interview when he laid out exactly what his plans were. He said we had enough gun laws already but he would sign the Bill if it came to his desk. That's a night and day difference from algore.
That's why the NRA took a stand on making sure the A rated Candidates were elected. It's still up to the gunowners if they're willing to fight against the re-enstatment of the Bill.
I suggest that the sunsetting of the Assault Weapons Bill is still entirely up to us. We can work hard and keep sending the letters and emails or we can crawl back into our holes and blame politics for everything just like the gunowners have done for the last 40 years.
The gunowners better start getting off the couch because voting every two years for an hour doesn't cut it.

Entirely too many.
Too many think all they have to do is get off the couch and vote and then they whine about the choices.
Bush said he would sign it if it got to his desk. The solution to that is make sure it doesn't get to his desk. The NRA said we better make sure it doesn't get to his desk and they worked hard to get enough candidates elected so it doesn't get there.
Now you have a bunch of gunowners who are finally waking up because they get a lib newpaper and they have no idea what's going on. Their solution is "I'm not going to vote for him" while they had nothing to do to put him there and did nothing to make sure it dies in Congress.
It's too damn easy to say "I'm not going to do something than say I'm going to do something".
We have to make sure this dies in Congress and that started two elections ago.

"he's the President, not the King"
He is indeed the king, executive order gives him that power. Clinton used it numerous times.
