Interesting. I didn't see the original CNN airing of the story but watched it here: Click and I did see Wayne Lapierre rip into them the other day. I emailed Fox Newswatch this morning hoping they would run something this weekend.

Here's a link to my original post the night CNN first aired the segment. The key is that their "demonstration" was of a select-fire, fully automatic weapon, claiming that was what was up for grabs with the assault weapon law. I don't believe that CNN has retracted their obvious disinformation from that broadcast.

Its amazing...I rarely watch CNN yet I saw both the original report and Wayne LaPierre's scathing atack on the CNN bimbo interviewing him. It was truly LaPierre's shining moment...he was terrific.

I couldn't find it on their website. One of the original reports, as well as Wayne's counterattack, are in the transcripts section, but they can't be found with the search engine.
