It's really hard to plot to return to power from Hell...

Even if he's alive, Saddam has as much chance of getting back into power in Iraq as Gorbachev in Russia.

"...was founded in Damascus in the 1940s by three Arabs educated at the Sorbonne university in Paris." Why does this not surprise me?? The French seem doomed to screw up everything they become associated with.
To: El Conservador
I don't think he's dead.

Probably taking advice from Hitler, Stalin and Mao.

Wonder how many look-a-likes have tried out for the part of Saddam so he can attempt to take over Iraq again?

I wouldn't show my face in Iraq if I were Saddam. I am sure alot of people would love nothing more than to get their hands around his neck!

Really? Where do you think he is?
I ask because I have difficulty believing he is dead, but I just cannot imagine where he would be able to hide.

When I hear that we've fully excavated the sites where we bombed leadership targets and there's no trace of a mean, fat, dead arab, I'll listen to this stuff.

My 1st guess is Russia . If he is alive he would find sanctuary with some old business partners or a 3rd party .

Pol Pot is another glorious product of the French educational system.

A person who has networked so well in the past has several options at his disposal . No doubt he has several choices including Africa . Being a sociopath & considering human nature I suspect he is in his comfort zone .
I suspect the cravings of his lifestyle past will be a valuable key in his discovery if he is indeed alive .

Oh goody, goody. Now that the folks in Iraq have gotten a taste of life without Sadaam, I doubt very seriously if there would be many who would cover for him if he tried to come back. Somebody would drop a dime on him.

Good observations. I hope this means that he will eventually be found.

He will be . Most likely dead but he will be found .
He wont be coming back . People like him are out for themselves and use people to " Get ahead " . Most likely he is at the peak of paranoia now than he has ever been in his life .
