Anyone else just hear a replay of a talk earlier today (19 May) by former Congressman Asa Hutchison, Homeland Defense Undersecretary for Border Control, going into detail about their new USA Visa program and how it will secure our borders at US points of entry?
[This aired on CSPAN Radio.]
I couldn't believe that talk. IS THIS REALLY BUSH ADMINISTRATION POLICY?!?!
Barf.
No wonder we are being invaded on the installment plan and the many law abiding guests and immigrants are being slapped in the face and insulted. It guess, listening to that talk, it will continue to happen regardless if the GOP or the Dems control the agencies.
You're absolutely right. The politicians know this, and that's why both sides, Republicans and Dems, are doing cartwheels, jumping through hoops, whatever they can, trying to snag the "coveted" Hispanic vote. And that's why neither side will do anything about illegal immigration, for fear of offending those coveted Hispanics who will soon be the majority.
Of course, if both parties had not sat back for years and allowed this massive invasion, there'd be no need for the pandering. The Republicans really shot themselves in the foot with this one. They're now in the position of having to kowtow to a group that is never going to vote for them.
Indeed it would be. If one factored in ALL the Hidden Costs of Illegal Immigration and put it on a "per burger" basis, you'd need to take out a bank loan to buy a Big Mac. The Cheap Labor/Cheap Products mantra mindlessly uttered by open borders crowd is one of the phoniest arguments in the defense of the indefensible.
The only ones that come out ahead in this Shell Game (aside from the Illegal Aliens) are the business owners who dump the social costs of their Illegals off on to the Taxpayers and the Politicians they keep warm and comfy in their cash stuffed pockets.
So true. Well, the Republicans had better start worrying about the growing number of conservatives that won't vote for them anymore because their policies have become almost indistinguishable from the democrats. If next years election is all about how much the parties can give away to a people that, by all Rights and operation of LAW, should be deported, I wouldn't be surprised if many a Republican forgets to show up to the polls on election day or votes 3rd party.

The appearance and debates of the two-party system are to keep the political junkies, the media, and the long time voters busy and distracted. This is Global Governance/Corporate Governance. There are dozens of bi-national groups, who meet all the time, who are working for a Western Hemispheric free trade zone. NAFTA, FTAA etc. There is a big meeting in November in Mexico, Summit of the Americas. You can bet Bush and Dad will be there. He was working on this Agenda while Governor of Texas, meeting annually with at the Border Governor's Conferences. Bruce Babbitt was one of the founders of this group. Our Janet Napolitano (D) will be going to Chihuaha, MX, soon, for Conference number XXI. They've been at this for 20+ years. Believe it. They do not discuss sovereignty or the US Constitution.

BORDER CROSSINGS
TRANSPORTATION EQUITY ACT 21 (Tea-21) Agenda 21?
There were many more links about last year, when the conference was in Phoenix. This year, you have to have a password to get info at a FTP site. This info will be disappearing, and I have yet to see anyone write anything knowledgeable on these meetings or other bi-national meetings. The WGA (Western Governors of America) are on the same path. The Arizona-Sonora Commission. The International Boundary and Water Commission. The CEC. People, this can no longer be debated with the notion that either the Democrats or the Republicans could do one thing to stop this far reaching, global crap that's designed to ignore things like the US Constitution and sovereignty and borders. Please wake up. Have you heard about Agenda 21? TEA 21 tells me everything I need to know, and I've been digging awhile.
While your searching, look up Cognitive Dissonance, for reassurance! It's not easy to come to grips with this.
Does anyone else find the silence deafening?
Strange days indeed....
Pinging the wife.....
Most of these so-called conservatives are more interested in Rush Limbaugh type threads where politics in all its complexities are distilled down to: Republicans are the Good Guys that can do No Wrong and the Democrats are the Epicenter of all Evil in this world.
If George Bush and/or the Republican Congress do something that is Un-Conservative (dare I say Liberal) like leaving our borders wide open in the face of this epic invasion, as terrorism rages throughout the world, it is for a good reason. You know, part of brilliant plan to screw the democrats--the details of which will be released at a later date on a needs to know basis. Shhhh.
Bingo. Thanks madfly. You hit the nail squarely on the head.
My impression is that many of those who have gone through all the paperwork to immigrate legally are annoyed at the number of people who expect the same rewards without going through it. The only people who would be really annoyed at a crackdown on illegal immigrants would be (1) the illegal immigrants, to the extent that they vote; and (2) Democrats who would lose the illegal immigrants' votes.
Of course, the real problem is the illegal immigrants' voting in the first place. Is there nothing the Republicans can do to stop that?
The question is, then, how many at this premier news site, are ready to do their own thinking and come to their own conclusions. More are asking why nothing is being done by either party. Well we are the government and I'm asking why all these bi-national handshakes aren't make public and investigated. Time for a class action suit or whatever remedy remains. I dread to think what things will be like for our kids and grandkids. On late night TV I watched the Hispanic graduating celebration at ASU on ASU's TV station. I saw that over 50% of the grads had degrees in Justice. We WILL be a minority and we will have no political voice, let alone a language.
I wish....I wish that Representative Tancredo would find a contingent of influential people, from inside and outside of politics, who would go the third party route, with the intent of winning on this issue, not the usual "sway the major parties" nonsense we get from third parties.
This issue's a winner. Yet neither party wants to stop the cheap labor and the votes they think it gets them. This just demonstrates how clueless and detached they have become from real US citizens. A majority care about securing the borders, US jobs for US citizens, not giving up our freedoms for a security we can't have with porous borders, stabilizing our population, culture, economy, and environment.
"Tancredo for President" is a nice thought. Does your guy have a plan to win? If not, these sentiments are a waste of our time, hopes, and money. And, I really don't believe we have much time beyond 2004 if these situations will be reversed.
They should be investigated. These self-serving bi-national working groups appear to operate as shadow governments with no accountability to anyone. This is REAL NEWS that has extremely important, far-reaching implications for the sovereignty and security of America. Yet no one in the Media wants to investigate what these subversives are doing. Then again, the illegal immigration crisis doesn't garner much media attention either unless some Illegals get caught in a trailer on a hot day in Texas and die in which case it's America's fault anyway.
If Space Visitors from another planet came down and visited America they would probably conclude that what happens in the Laci Peterson Murder Case has direct bearing on how our government operates.

I get the Picture of a Trojan Horse from that. Justice Uh? Justice For Whom? And all this time I thought they just came here to do the work that no one else wants to do. Seems to me America has a burgeoning surplus of people in the "Justice" Business.
