Foxnews Reporting Willie Nelson did what?
Posted on 05/16/2003 5:25:33 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
Foxnews reported that Willie Nelson sent Bandana's to the Texas Democrats who fled to Oklahoma.
Now maybe I am too young to remember but in recent days I thought that Mr Nelson has become a Conservative? The main reason I thought this was because of his song with Toby Keith who is a known Conservative.
Also his songs with Waylon Jennings who also campaigned for Republicans quite a bit.
He reportedly sent them bandana's because they were outlaws???

Apparently they succeeded in preventing a bill they did not like from passing. They should be all be arrested and thrown in jail.

If every legislature simply left their job because of bills they disagreed with, nothing would ever get done yet these dips are being praised!!! Right is wrong and wrong is right these days. *sigh*

This tactic reminds me of when Torecelery "quit" so that he would not lose the election.

Well that sucks that he would do that. I'll bet Toby would not be very happy about this. Toby is from Oklahoma and I would like to hear what he has to say.

Willie Nelson has always been a liberal. He did a "mellow" rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at the 80 demo convention. He wore an old t-shirt and jeans, had his hair in a ponytail and looked like he just left an all night party.

Does this sound like a "peace loving" Dim to you guys???
Beer for My Horses
(Print the Lyrics)
Well a man come on 6 o'clock news
Said somebody's been shot
Somebodys been abused
somebody blew up a building
somebody stole a car
somebody got away
somebody didn't get too far
Yeah, they didn't get too far
Grand pappy told my pappy back in my day
Son a man had to answer for the wicked that he done
Take all the rope in Texas
Find a tall oak tree, round up all of them bad boys
Hang them high in the street
For all the people to see
That
Justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys
You got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we'll sing a victory tune
And we'll all meet back at the local saloon
And we'll raise up our glasses against evil forces singing
whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
We got too many gangsters doing dirty deeds
too much corruption and crime in the streets
It's time the long arm of the law put a few more in the ground
Send 'em all to their maker and he'll settle 'em down
You can bet he'll set 'em down
Cause
Justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys
You got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we'll sing a victory tune
And we'll all meet back at the local saloon
And we'll raise up our glasses against evil forces singing
whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
He knew
Justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys
You got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we'll sing a victory tune
And we'll all meet back at the local saloon
And we'll raise up our glasses against evil forces
Singing whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
Singing whiskey for my men, beer for my horses

Not surprising. Willie had probably just finished taking numerous hits off of his Tommy Chong bong.

Willie should stick to strictly singing. He doesn't have a lot going for him, but nobody can sing like Willie.

The GOP didn't call off the Texas Rangers...somehow Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry protected the fleeing Dims from being arrested.
To: TLBSHOW
and the gop called off the Texas Rangers why? Because the rat governor in Oklahoma aided and abbetted the chicken dems in shirking their duty, but you alrady knew that.
