Saw it on Wed. and liked it..ive heard the total for Wednesday was somewhere around the high 9 million mark

Bo is right. They managed to accomplish something truly remarkable: they took the already increbly stupid plot of Matrix and made it even dumber. Way too much martial arts with people that don't actually know martial arts too, the wire work was excellent but none of the stars could do decent moves. They covered it fairly well with lots of matrix-cam junk but they just had too much to not notice eventually that punches were stopping before they got blocked.
I declare this movie a Playmet: good looking, but dumb as a post.
