Pardon the cheap shameless plug, but I hope to have the opportunity to meet a few of you NY FReepers next week when I'm in NYC.
For those not familiar with previous cheap shameless plugs, here is the business in which I am involved --- SSAF. Yes, a new cool flash website is being designed (actually by my son).
For over thirty years, SSAF has protected the glass in major buildings around the world from terrorist bomb blasts. The company has saved many lives. In 7-mil optically clear or solar control, IMPAX EXTREME Fragmentation/Blast Security Window Film can sustain a 500-lb car bomb from a distance of 111 feet. It is the state of the art window film in the world.
For many, many months we've been negotiating some substantial projects in TIMES SQUARE. Finally, work begins on the first of three buildings next week.
I'll be taking a red eye Sunday night from California and arriving totally refreshed (yeah, right) for the business day on Monday. I am hoping that some of you will show me the best Irish pub where we might have the pleasure of singing THE BALLAD OF MIKE MORAN.
Perhaps a visit to Hillary HQ might be enjoyable.
Okay, who is up for showing me some of that NY hospitality for which you are famous? (No, not running me over in a crosswalk, flipping me off, or telling me that I have my head somewhere).

If I was up that way, I'd buy you dinner. You made my day recently. I was driving home from work the other day listening to Hannity on the radio. Lo and behold, he takes a call from Doug Upland and the first thing I hear was freerepublic.com. You made some great comments and I was so proud to be a freeper. I wished Hannity would have let you talk just a little bit more. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I think DFU holds the record for radio call ins. I'm curious if he built his own speed dialer...
To: tubebender
No speed dialer, but my right hand pointer finger has become severely deformed. :)

I had the great opportunity to meet Sean when he came out to the Nixon library to do his show. He has been a very powerful force for our side.

It doesn't look like the red carpet treatment is being thrown out here. Am I going to have to land in a naval aviator jumpsuit or something?

Well that's a fine howdy you do! A few weeks back when you mentioned possibly coming the week of the 15th I asked that you let us know in advance and we'd try to get a welcome committee. I told racebannon, dutchy and nutmeg that your plans were tentative. Is it a definite now?
