When Susan claimed Hillary has the respect of her collegues, I lost it. Susan is mad because there is none of that Clinton absorbed oxygen left for her. She should cut back on those 5 packs of Virginia slims she smokes per day. The carbon monoxide is dimming her comprehension. The only reason Hillary gets anyone's "respect" in the Senate is because they are scared to death of her. You can run Zimbabwe on fear and intimidation, and if she gets her way it will be the same here.

She does get it. She was a staunch defender of the odd couple during the impeachment fiasco. I think she is being realistic and trying to tell the other RATS that they must let go now, put the Clintons on the shelf and move along. Estrich is genuinely looking to the future of her party, and Hillary is not the one to lead it to its past glories.

Indeed they are and it's a blessing for the GOP. Every time clinton opens his mouth, he further discredits the democrat party and harms the candidates trying to break from his mold. Recall how he campaigned for candidates in 2002? Nearly all of them lost and lost big. I say let bill stay out front and center. He's nauseating and it infuriates me to no end but it does appear to help the GOP.

Estrich is right about hillary too. She will never be president. She may have gotten elected in NY but that's a far cry from a national election. And I know many democrat women who can't stand her. Plus, who in their right mind would want bill clinton to be the first man?

You are correct. 66% of Americans can't identify a CURRENT Democrat candidate. However, they are currently all discussing who they don't want - Hillary. Discussing who they don't want, and how to keep her away is hurting them and helping us.

The incredible thing about this article is who the author is. Her credentials as a card-carrying Democrat are unquestionable. However, her conversion from the dark side is not complete.

She wants the Clintons and their flying monkeys out of the way, for sure. But her reason for that is they are in the way of live and potentially relevant Democrats, not that they are corrupt examples of the worst kind of public officials.
