i AGREE with you.
HOWEVER, I believe God is going to make it a moot point at some not too distant date--by sending a swarm of meteors that will essentially sweep virtually all satellites from the skies--and leave rather damaged any still aloft.
Would sure like to be wrong on this one. And I sure don't know the timing on it. But I think it is one way He's going to muck up the Anti-Christ's mark of the beast computer implant/locator chips.

Of course meteor swarms are a huge threat, but an even bigger danger is that we might be smack dab in the middle of a war on Christmas Eve, and our satellites will burn out their sensors due to off-the-scale instrument readings bouncing off Santa's hypersonic sleigh.

Don't worry, you are.
In your scenario, such "meteor swarms" sweeping the sats away wouldn't be the big concern. Once the planet had passed through the swarm, you would find that all the people would have been swept away - along with all other forms of life - by the impacts and ensuing earthquakes/tidal waves. Unless your 'divine intervention' somehow spares the planet and only takes the sats, at which point we will have all seen a true miracle. Until then, I'd keep this as your little secret if I were you.

The meteors can be blocked by wearing aluminum foil helmets.
