"HOWEVER, I believe God is going to make it a moot point at some not too distant date--by sending a swarm of meteors that will essentially sweep virtually all satellites from the skies--and leave rather damaged any still aloft.

Would sure like to be wrong on this one."

Don't worry, you are.

In your scenario, such "meteor swarms" sweeping the sats away wouldn't be the big concern. Once the planet had passed through the swarm, you would find that all the people would have been swept away - along with all other forms of life - by the impacts and ensuing earthquakes/tidal waves. Unless your 'divine intervention' somehow spares the planet and only takes the sats, at which point we will have all seen a true miracle. Until then, I'd keep this as your little secret if I were you.

Wellllllll,

The Bible does say that man shall become as scarce as gold and that the world will experience a worse time than ever before or after.

But the meteors could be a swarm of small things easily burned up in the atmostphere but large enough as a grouping or orbiting, spiraling in sufficiently long enough to sweep a lot of sats from their orbits without destroying all life on earth.

I'm surprised you didn't think of that.
