Don't know the artist, doesn't look like art to me. Looks like the do-it-yourself paintings you make by squirting paint on a canvas rotating on a turntable, only not as pretty. Whoever pays that kind of money for that crap needs to have his taxes raised.

I see an intermingling of fine filliments with broad bands of emotion.
I see the occasional minute points which act as a stable basis on which the whole can be supported with the firmness that only the artist's motion can convey.
I see in both the choices of color, and the sensitivity of the artist's hand, reflect the totality of his inner peace in conflict with the utter turmoil of his own essence.
