A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 5/14/03

President Bush began his day with a few diplomatic calls to foreign leaders thanking them for their support in Iraq. Bush then welcomed South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun to the White House, where they discussed a nuclear-free Korean peninsula. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Here is my take on the whole democrat situation....... :-)
In Texas George W. Bush was elected as Governor in 1992 with a state legislature that was controlled by the democrats for almost 125 years, by the time he left the republicans completely swept the democrats out of the majority by a WIDE margin. We now see the democrats in Texas behaving like juveniles as they run away from their responsibilities to their constituants in a desperat attempt to thwart the will of the people.
I believe what we are seeing in Washington D.C. is a repeat of what George W. Bush did to the democrats in Texas. Ann Richards and the rest of the RATS in Texas mis-underestimated George W. Bush and had their clocks cleaned by him, and the only difference now is it's on a national scale.
2 years from now when Hillary, Daschle, Leahy, Byrd and the other obstructionist democrats are voted out of power and we have a clear majority, the democrats in Congress will run to Cuba to thwart the will of the entire country. IN SHORT.... we are witnessing the democrats imploding, and it is a beautiful thing to watch :-)

Quick! Someone check out the rules for the House and the Senate to see what constitutes a legal quorum. If it's only those who are present, then I say "just fine! let 'em all run to Cuba .... they'll be more at home there anyway."

Mike, as usual, I do believe you're right on.
They really are acting irrational.

I know George W. Bush is a kind hearted good man as well as a great president, but he is a master politician, and anyone who doesn't think so ends up where Al Gore and Ann Richards are today (nowhere to be heard or seen)
George W. Bush plays for keeps and if neccessary he can down and dirty (Ask John McCain)
After watching him for the past several years, I believe this guy could heard cats
