HANG all car thieves by their you know whats. And when they've stopped begging for mercy, hang them by the necks untill they are dead, dead, DEAD.
Presidemt Bush, I believe my car (aka Miss Reliable) was taken by car thieving terrorists. Please send in the troops. I want all of New York turned over untill my car is found.

Hey lowbridge, sorry about the kidnapping, but your true love is probably now one of those skeletons on the cross bronx expressway by now.
I really hope not. Hey maybe you just misplaced it. Good luck with finding it.

Are you sure a garbage man didn't make a tiny mistake? In New York? Only way you can get them to do their jobs is to give their mafia bosses a kickback, and I was behind on my payments to vito the shark.

Car thieves must be getting desperate. Or incredibly stupid at the very least. (The cassette player didnt even work)
Most Stolen Cars: 6/11/02
IN FACT AN INTEGRA OWNER IS 8 TIMES MORE LIKELY TO FILE A THEFT CLAIM THAN THE AVERAGE OWNER. AND IT'S BEEN THAT WAY FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS IN A ROW.
Kim HAzelbaker, Highway Loss Data Institute The picture for new car theft in the United States is commonly thought to be one of exporting stolen vehicles. The situation is different, however, for this Acura Integra. What we see for the Integra is it's being stolen because its parts fit into other cars including the Honda Civic.
In fact, the Highway Loss Data Institute says the Acura Integra is so popular with car thieves that Honda started equipping the cars with passive anti-theft devices with the 2-thousand model. Of course, the car thieves like other cars too.

You are not really maximizing your insurance opportunity with your candid factoids.
Sorry Lowbie. That car looks in great shape, you took care of her sweet like.

Parts is parts.
To: lowbridge
sorry to hear about your car.
Some of the newer Integras can hit 55mph in 2nd gear, and do over 140mph. Thats what I heard anyway.
Because no one would want to drive that fast anyway.

You are not really maximizing your insurance opportunity with your candid factoids. But hey, did I ever tell you about the original Picasso I kept in the trunk? :-)
Actually, I wasnt insured for theft. Collision, but not theft. Even if I was insured for theft, I still wouldnt have gotten anything. The police have advised me to cancel the insurance. Like I was gonna still pay the insurance for whoever has the car now. I'm getting the bureaucratic runaround on that. My insurance company wants some sort of official form from the DMV. To get that, the DMV wants the police report. To get that police report, I have to wait a minimum of two weeks to give the police time to find my car. Untill then, it's only considered "lost" by the DMV.
Note to insurance company: Good luck on getting next month's payment.
Sorry Lowbie. That car looks in great shape, you took care of her sweet like.
That car was incredibly very reliable. Nice and speedy, rarely needed to be fixed. (I dont ever recall passing by a disabled Acura on the freeways. Mostly Ford's, but never an Acura)
How could God allow this to happen to a FReeper????

I'd tell you about the time I actually outran a cop in the car, and he was pretty fast on his feet at that, but then I dont want to incriminate myself.
Oops.

Having a 12 year old Accura Integra ourselves, we feel your pain, lowbridge. Since the solution to any crime involves motives, I feel compelled to point out some possibilities:
- Hillary: Hillary is striking back at the vast, right wing conspiracy.
- Taxes: Taxes are forcing car thieves to become more desparate.
- Liberalism: You live in an area populated by liberals who, by nature, think they can take what is yours.
- Hangover: You have only forgotten where you left it after a hard night out on the town.
- Texas Dems: Texas democrats, who left the state to avoid redistricting, were about to be captured in your neighborhood and needed a getaway car.

Or incredibly stupid at the very least. I kid you not.....I used to drive a 77 Toyota pick-up. It was bright orange with a black fender. Someone tried to steal it. All I'm saying is this: That dude had some low self esteem to want that hunk o junk

Oh lowbridge, I'm sorry. I hope you get Miss Acura back soon.

How'd they get around the alarm system?
Next time, protect the investment. A couple of hundred bucks is worth it in the long run.
Hope they find your baby in one piece.

How were the CV joints on that Acura?
