I guess Shepard Smith isn't going to appear ON Jay Leno...but on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno....
I'll never forget when Shep got his words all mixed up...

By the way did anybody hear what Steve Doocy said about Dan Rather?
"I occasionally watch him to see if this is the day he snaps"

expect Shep to try to appeal to Lefties. He has always struck me as someone who is just into self aggrandizement, and is uncomfortable with being held in contempt (due to his association with FNC) by the mainstream media.
I'll apologize if I'm wrong, but he will most likely not make conservatives happy tonight!

Shep is a conservative tried and true.

Met Shep at Binions in Vegas over the weekend. Seemed like a personable enough guy to me. He was signing autographs and taking pictures with folks. I told him that we all supported Fox News.
BTW, Shep looks a lot younger in person.

( A fella - a quick fella - might keep a weapon under there.)
Hey, Jay looked pretty cool burning rubber outside the Today Show. Scared the pants off goofy Matt.
BTW, didn't Al Roker(sp?) used to be fat? If so, he's done an incredible job of losing weight. Good for him.

A:
Yoko Ono. Shepard Smith. Q: What are two reasons to avoid the Tonight Show like the plague?

Do you believe it? She looks like she's about 55 or so. She's really amazing looking. Still a freakin kook...but an incredibly well preserved one.

He's taller than I thought and he is doing good so far...

Binions? Was he doing a story on Bill Bennett? (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

He did good so I am eating a little crow. Leno kept the thing serious... except for the J-Lo BJ thing. Jay should have let more of Shep's personality come out. I'm glad he got a good audience response!

Thanks for alerting me to this! I caught Shep on Leno and was pleasantly surprised at how natural he is. Same on Leno as he is on the news. He's really a talent!
That was rather cheesy to hit him at the start with the J-Lo blooper, but he handled himself incredibly well. Came off as a straight-up guy, very intelligent, sincere, and a good sport. A real class act, who I have a good deal of respect for.
I don't care what mistakes he may have may in the past, clearly he has grown in the job. Ten years from now he will be the undisputed holder of the title "Most trusted newsman in America."
