On your recommendation, I tried some Bone Suckin' Sauce. WOW! That stuff is REALLY good! Thanks.

There was a new restaurant that opened on Harvey Road (near the intersection with Texas) that makes some excellent BBQ, though can't remember the name of it. The thought of their sauce is making my mouth water.

Wow, could any reply be later than this one? I think the place you're talking about is called Rudy's.

TX has great BBQ Beef, but, IMHO, the sauces are watery and weak. It's all about Sonny's BBQ in FL.

Wow. My memory told me that this was a thread a few months ago, but two years!; the internet never forgets.

Rudy's is correct. Watery mouth yet again.....Now I live in FL and have yet to see a Sonny's. Will have to try it out when I see one; thanks for the tip!

If it's smoking it's cooking - if it's black it's done. Hold mah beer!!

That is because barbeque is timeless.

Around here, NE Florida, Sonny's is a fixture. As I recall, the first location is in Gainesville.

I went to Texas A&M's civilian UXO (EOD) school. While I was in College Station, I dragged the guys out to Rudy's a few times. They had great lean beef! It was the best quality meat I've ever seen, including the beef on my Grandfather's cattle ranch in Jacksonville.
