Hillarys Welfare State Magnet For Scum
May 13, 2003
Here we are in the midst of an economic slowdown that we want to speed up. We want more jobs, and we want more people to become self-reliant, independent and in need of less government assistance, do we not? Is that not a continual quest of those of us who seek a great country and a great society? It is. There's no question.
Yet here comes Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton announcing on Monday that shes sponsoring a bill that would help people throughout the country find social services they need simply by dialing 211. Clinton explained in a speech to a gathering of leaders from not-for-profit groups that someone could call and say, I need child care, or I need job training or I need affordable housing, and then be connected to the appropriate agencies.
While it might sound all compassionate and simple as picking up the phone, can you imagine the bureaucracy we're going to have to set up for this? I don't even want to think about the potential for fraud here. Can you imagine? This is a scandal just waiting to happen. I'll tell you what it also is, folks. It's streamlined welfare and streamlined liberalism, and you can hear the rest of the scary details in the audio link below.
Just look at the state Hillary pretends to live in. One of the biggest untold stories of New York City is how, for one of the greatest cities in the world, unaffordable it is for average people. Yet, it's a magnet for a large number of indigent people. Why is that? It's because it's such a huge welfare state!
We learned during the course of Tuesdays program that the number Hillary wants basic government services to be available at, 211, ironically happens to be code lingo for law enforcement which means there's an armed robbery going on. How appropriate

211 - Democratic Party armed robbery at gun point of the taxpayers to help the welfare magnet freeloaders get even more goodies. Thanks Hillary!

Did she mention how much this new program would cost? How many operators? And of course there has to be operators speaking every foreign language there is.

Hillary's jealous of the new Homeland Security Department.
She wants to invent a corresponding new social department on the left.
Just like in the 80's...when Reagan increased defense spending, the left hiked up the social programs.

But you are living in New York. that's the way the weather is SUPPOSED to be isn't it? Like 80's and 90's in places like Florida and Arizona? Heat and humidity?? I prefer the cool to the warm anyday.

I need a tax cut. Every time I get a few bucks ahead, I end up having to write big checks to the government.

But it's an unfair burden to make people pick up the phone and dial 211! Some people might not HAVE phones. Some people might not be familiar with numbers and therefore, can't find 211 on the dial. Some might be dyslexic and dial "122" or something. How could we be so insensitive??? Maybe we should just hire a bunch of government employees to go door to door, asking people, in their native languages, if they need any services. </sarcasm>
