Now that I am convinced this is being orchestrated by the national DNC, I wonder how far they will go in turning this into a publicity circus? Pelosi and other high-profile Dems stopping by for support? Michael Moore doing a documentary? Ann Richards bringing brownies? The Dixie Chicks doing an unpugged Ardmore concert on MTV?

Give it up pwatson. I guess you can't read and a product of a demo NEA public school. All Diddle was doing, was reporting the Texas chicken d's news conference.

They were probably at that drive-thru animal park near Ardmore mixing with their kin in the primate section.

Much better would have been:

"WANTED for interstate flight to avoid legislation"

And the "prayer" basically said, IMHO, was,

Oh Lord Hillary the almighty save us. We are using your tactics of pettiness, division, and lies. Hillary you are our salvation.

I thought this story was a joke out of the tabloids when I first heard of it. Now that I know that it's a real story, I'm LMAO!

The joke is on the DemocRATs. They're reinforcing the impression created in the public by things like the Lautenberg flap that they're cheaters.

LOL, no problem, I certainly understand. This current generation of moral relativist Democrats, who have purged their party of those with any shred of integrity, has most of us seething mad at their latest example of grandstanding and avoiding the rules they subjegated everyone else to.

The idea that Martin Frost would be appalled by unfair and rambling congressional district boundaries is laughable. His own district looks like a police chalk outline of a centipede killed by a steamroller.

I used to live in Frost's district and didn't know anyone who liked him. Every election, he'd be lagging behind his GOP opponent in Ennis and Waxahachie until a big stuffed box of ballots from a Ft. Worth housing project 45 miles away came in and once again put him over the top. Those voters had absolutely nothing in common with us: no shared industries, no similar neighborhoods, nothing. But they were staunch Democrats, so they'd been gerrymandered into our district to insure we had lots of taxation without representation.

how far they will go in turning this into a publicity circus?

Given that this involves an additional 7 GOP seats, they will be willing to go pretty far. Still, the House GOP only needs 5 more Rats, and ought to start looking for the weak links. Do any of those people have season tickets to the Mavs??? Do any of them have kids in little league? Graduations to attend? Spouses to visit? I think at least 5 can be convinced to come back, on the argument that they will eventually lose anyway, when the Governor calls them back into special session. If they don't want to be on the lam for the next 6 months, they better just come back, having finished with their PR stunt.
