I think I understand you're problem Paul . When I changed my attitude my associations changed . Things never looked the same to me since then & frankly It's a good thing !

I've come up with a way to cut through all that crap. I found a woman I didn't like and bought her a house. It sure beat giving away everything I have every five years.

"I cannot take the risk", that idea has put a damper on my social life also. I have been through the wringer time after time (luckily no ex, or current wives or kids, but close) while just trying to do the right thing. But it is that risk factor that keeps me from even looking right now.

You'd be suprised how much time one has to fish without worrying about women. And with the fish you can play with them for a little while and let them go, or make "the commitment" and take them home and eat them. Neither results in needing a lawyer (as long as you are not poaching ;-). My new main criterion is a woman who loves to fish as much as I do, they are too busy on the water to bother with lawyers.
