Male bashing -- the stereotyping of men as brutal, stupid or otherwise objectionable -- is commonplace. Our sons, husbands, fathers and men-friends are gleefully slandered because they are male. They are subjected to malicious jokes and attitudes that would be decried if directed at blacks, Hispanics or women. The assault against men must stop. But how?

Screw that. I really don't care what the pinheads say about me. THEY instead need a thicker skin so THEY can take the occasional joke without breaking into a lather and demanding that the offender be forced into sensitivity training.

I am sure some Jews living in 1930's Germany thought the same thing. This is more serious than you think, young (post baby-boomer) white men have become the scapegoats for the ills of this country.

I honestly don't think it's as bad now as it was ten or twelve years ago, when male-bashing was EVERYWHERE in the media and advertising. Feminism was still on the upswing then, but after the Clinton Administration and the schizophrenic attitude leading feminists took toward his behavior, they have lost a lot of credibility with women who previously took them seriously.
