Freep the Dixie Chix!
Posted on 05/13/2003 4:48:41 AM PDT by guinnessboy
The Dixie Chix will be at the Fleet Center:
Dixie Chicks FleetCenter, Boston, MA Thu, Jun 19, 2003 7:30pm
Lets give them a warm Boston Welcome shall we?
I have a couple of signage ideas already:
"Those are not your bodies" "Y'all should know, I'm ashamed the Dixie chix are in Boston"
etc.. should be a fun and humorous event.

You must be bored.

To me, it would make more sense to
ignore the Ditsey Blivets : ignore as in :
1. Don't attend their appearances
2. Don't buy their CD's, etc.
3. Don't listen to any station that plays their music.
All of these are good 1st Amendment responses, that don't result in the group getting the additional publicity they crave.

1. Don't attend their appearances 2. Don't buy their CD's, etc.
3. Don't listen to any station that plays their music.
It doesn't mean we can't tell the radio stations why we aren't going to listen to them, tell the places where they are appearing, that we will never go there because they are supporting a bunch of traitors, and letting music stores know, that we don't appreciate what they do.
I don't like the AC boys (white skinhead racist group), if a radio station played them, I would never listen to that station again, if a venue played them, I would never go to that venue again, and if a record store sold there CD's, I would let them know why I intend to boycott them. They have there freedom of speech, and I have mine, and mines, just as theres, includes telling people what I won't do, and why.

It will be a fun time had by all, pretty much thats it. Just like the Garafalo awards put on by our fellow freepers, we can have a welcome party for the Chix in Beantown.
