Since when did it become okay to harm yourself? I missed the repeal of inalienable rights which the moral-liberals and other progressives enacted recently. The moral-liberals used to claim, before the advent of AIDS:

Now they had to alter their Great Dictum, since it was shown to cause great harm:

Constitutionally, it has always been "okay to harm yourself" by doing dangerous things, or by being a damn fool.. Its called feedom CJ..
So your quote still applies.

Aids is just another sexually transmitted disease. We don't need special laws to control it. -- Get a grip on your emotions, cj.

OK, or illegal? If you go down that road, I have a few instructions for you to follow from now on.

"Do what you want to, so long as it doesn't [apparently] hurt anyone [else] [immediately]."

Maybe you should keep to sex with your spouse only and you wouldn't have to worry about any chance of catching a disease.

It's always been legal to hurt yourself. Except for brief fascist flings, alcohol and tobacco have been legal since they were discovered. Dangerous sports have a long history and occupations like mining and lumbering carry an inherent risk of injury.
