Posted on 05/10/2003 11:53:50 AM PDT by skinman_uk
Just been watching UK channel 4 news and they have a report stating that documents found in Baghdad have been released containing information that Al Jazeera reporters were Secret Agents for the Iraqi regime. The documents also reveal that they received gifts and payments for their services.3 people were identified in the document. Can't find any links at the moment...

Captain Louis Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!
Croupier: Your winnings, sir.
Captain Louis Renault: [sotto voce] Oh, thank you very much.

My hats off to the UK media. As left wing as some (the majority?) of the organizations are, there is some excellent investigative reporting that puts anything by ABCCBSNBC et al to SHAME.

Its part of THE TIMES site so it won't be up until after the paper has released the "exclusive" tomorrow.

This is a great find, and would you please post it as a separate thread. Thanks.
A few paragraphs from this great article:
In an April 2, 2003, speech in New York City, British home secretary David Blunkett complained about Arab journalism. "It's hard to get the true facts if the reporters of Al Jazeera are actually linked into, and are only there because they are provided with facilities and support from the regime." The accusation caused a minor stir in Britain, with several scathing editorials in left-wing newspapers calling for Blunkett's head.
In fact, he may have simply revealed something that wasn't meant for public consumption. According to the CIA report, "Saddam's son Uday . . . assigned a writer, closely associated to him, Rahim Mizyad, as the correspondent to the al-Jazirah satellite television channel. Mizyad also is head of several weekly newspapers in Iraq and General Press Coordinator of all Iraqi governates, but Uday oversees his work."
SALAMA NIMAT, the Jordanian journalist, says it's not just Arab journalists who took money. "The Western media has been playing the game, too, including Americans."
In Dearborn, Michigan, one radio station has for years broadcast a weekly, two-hour pro-Saddam program. According to Iraqi Americans who monitored the broadcasts, each program began with the Baath party anthem.
Ismail Mansour, a Pentagon-trained Iraqi American working with coalition forces in Iraq, says the regime's money reached well inside the United States, going to journalists and others. "In America, Saddam friends give money and they make protest," he says. "In the Arab world, it's the same thing. They pay money to do that."
To my pingees. This has some great data re some of our favorites like Ritter, the Perv. McDermott, the congressit bought for only $5,000, and others.

Thanks for posting it all! I thought it was most interesting that after 9/11 Al-Jezeera was passing Osama's notes to Baghdad.
To: skinman_uk
duh! alert ... Al Jazeera always has the bin Laden videos, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed videos (when he was free), always shows things from Yasser Arafat's twisted viewpoint ...
and they're just NOW figuring out what Al Jazeera is? ... it's a propaganda machine to stir up the Islamic world against Israel, USA, Great Britain and any other nation that doesn't care to "submit" ...

Well, that's that, then. No need to investigate any further. No Arab ever lies, only we foolish imperialists of the Great Satan. Arabs are truthful. After all, that is why they are so far ahead in the sciences and are a super race.

Did you see that closing interchange between Putie and Tony Blair about a week and a half ago? Tony just smiled and basically told Putie, that he was lying about no WMDS in Iraq, just to wait and see. Putie looked like Tony hit the side of his head with a cricket bat.
I think that both MI6 and the CIA have tons of data, and they are making some of it available to trusted media people to pull the plug ont these Wh$res for $oddomite.
There are probably some closed door suggestions going on that would stun all of us. If we see well known backers of $oddomite resigning/retiring to spend more time with their families, we will know the closed door technique is working.

Wasn't that interesting!
Maybe we should email that to the Da$$hole and other rats in congress who said there were no links between $oddomite and the al Qaeda thugs. Here is data that the two top mass murdering thugs were passing on data via Al-Jezeera.

"Who funded and founded the startup of Al-Jezeera??"I don't know, but it could have been Daschle, Galloway, Hans Blix, Jacque Chirac, or Scott Ritter, Putin or Clinton. Did I leave any of the weasils out?
