Democrats 2004 Kamikaze Mission
The Democrats want to lose the 2004 presidential election. This is the only possible explanation for their political kamikaze mission over the last year. What are these people thinking? Consider some of their more brilliant tactics since 9/11: (1) Accusing President Bush of having prior knowledge of September 11.
Remember this insanity? Last May, the Democrats started gleefully frolicking around, declaring that the Bush Administration had knowledge of al Qaedas plan to hijack planes and slam them into the Twin Towers. Mrs. Bill Clinton stood up on the Senate floor and waved a copy of the New York Post with the headline Bush Knew. Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe was almost giddy with the possibility of an investigation.
These Democratic leaders actually thought that the American People would believe that George W. Bush knew about 9/11 beforehand and did nothing to stop it. A brilliant political strategyaccuse a beloved president of being an accomplice in mass murder.
(2) Avoiding foreign policy discussions in favor of kitchen table issues.
Terry McAuliffe articulated this brilliant strategery in an interview with the Christian Science Monitor:
"Listen, if I am a Republican and I am a strategist at the White House running campaigns, would I rather have people talking about Iraq and the war on terrorism than talking about the kitchen table issues? Sure, I would. What are the Republicans going to possibly talk about but the war on terrorism?"
Kitchen table issues? What the heck are kitchen table issues? According to former Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders, who appeared on CSPAN last weekend, masturbation is a kitchen table issue:
[Thanks to] what I said, people talk about masturbation now, even at the kitchen table.
Actually, according to the Starr Report, Elders is mistakenmasturbation was apparently a White House sink issue during the Clinton Years.
Regardless, while Democrats focused on kitchen table issues and blocked a Homeland Security bill, the Republicans were busy winning the Senate.
(3) Declaring the war a failure because an oil painting was stolen.
As U.S. troops moved toward Baghdad, liberals claimed that the war was a quagmire, that hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians would die, and that the pre-emptive strike would lead to a thousand Osamas. Tom Daschle claimed that President Bushs policies failed so miserably. While the Saddam statue fell, John F. Heinz-Kerry demanded regime change in America. And when the Iraqi people celebrated their newfound freedom, the American Left declared Operation Iraqi Freedom a failure because an ancient Iraqi slingshot had been stolen from a museum. The more wrong these people are, the louder and more shrill they become.
(4) Demanding an investigation of President Bushs victory celebration on the Lincoln.
With the glorious victory in Iraq, the Commander in Chief decided to celebrate with his troops by flying a Navy jet onto the deck of the airline carrier Abraham Lincoln. The scene was perfectthe President celebrating with members of the Armed Forces who clearly love him. Everyone cheering. Pride. Tears. Americana at its best. And how do the Democrats respond? Congressman Henry Waxman (D-CA) has demanded [an investigation for] a deliberate and intentional use of the military for campaign purposes. And these people wonder why military men hate the Left!
An investigation of the Presidents most shining moment in office? Bring it on. I cant wait for the television coverage of the hearings:
LEFTIST CONGRESSMAN (pointing at video monitor): As you see in this video of a wildly cheering crowd of military men surrounding the grinning president, our tax money is being wasted. I want to show the American People a replay of his landing, in slow motion. Can we get a reverse angle of that? Behind those signs that say Welcome Hero and We Love You, Mr. President you can see that the Navy jet is too luxurious for this occasion. I vow to show this video every dayevery hour, in factuntil the November 2004 election. I will expose this President for who he really is.
The Democrats political tactics are either (1) insanely stupid or (2) hilariously suicidal. Watching these people march toward the 2004 election isas Rush Limbaugh saysmore fun than a human being should be allowed to have
And there's more coming! It's only a matter of time before Mrs. John "Kerry" Heinz has a Marge Schott moment with the microphones turned on. Or maybe it'll be a Leona Helmsley moment. It'll be one or the other, and we all know it. And so does Kerry. He'll have a head of gray hair before he gets to the convention, worrying about what that woman is gonna say next. Then there's The media is helping, too, with its very aggressive schedule of a different Republican called in each week for forty lashes. At one time they could fool people into thinking this stuff was "news," but when they do it every week it's too obvious. So they're gonna lose their "juice." When the Democrats call them up to hose a Republican they need out of the way, the public will just laugh. |
by flying a Navy jet onto the deck of the airline carrier Abraham Lincoln.
Your remarks about the Nostrilitis Waxman: The man when he lays on his back - scary thought stay with me - his nose looks like a two car garage with the doors open and a science experiment going on inside.
LOVING IT! LOL!
Accusing President Bush of having prior knowledge of September 11.
I have always strongly suspected that this was projection. The Dims being strong on both past and present projection. From this I always figured that hiltlery was really saying that the clintoon administration knew about terrorist strikes befor they happened and projected that into "Bush knew", we did.
The 64 million dollar question then becomes how many of the terrorist strikes did they know about before hand? WTC1? OKC? TWA800? Kobar Towers? The USS Cole?
Think about that awhile and it will really get you steamed.
They understand the power of visual imagery. Playing that clip would ensure certain political defeat.
