The WH doesn't need to use it.
Since soft money is "IN" again, all manner of issues organizations can use it.
I love free speech.

To hell with pledging to not use any footage to a cut-throat swine like McAuliffe.
To: ewing
However, I can't promise I won't download it and send it to my friends.
It is in the public domain.

The Whitehouse doesn't need to use the photo. The RNC does....

Who in the GOP pledged not to use it? Is there an official statement? I can't believe anyone in the WH would do that. It is an admission there is something wrong with using certain photos and video of the President. And it gives the DNC an opening to ask for more concessions.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!
McAuliffe asks WH not to use President Bush's name as part of the 2004 Campaign.

The White House already made this pledge..if the Dims were paying attention to ABC News this morning! Yes the WH made the pledge. Now if the subject comes up, you know there'll be footage of it on the evening news.
Of course the RNC could use the footage, or someone else I suppose.
Still, I don't see why they couldn't or shouldn't use the footage of the CIC doing his JOB! You know BJ Clintoon would have in a heart beat and told the R's to stick it if they didn't like it.
