Brian Kilmeade Dismantles Liberal Caller.
Posted on 05/09/2003 4:27:12 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
Today the Question of the day for Fox and Friends was....
Bush and Blair? Should they win the nobel peace prize?
It was early this morning and Brian and Kiran were taking calls. Each caller seemed to think that Bush and Blair should get the prize.
But then a caller said...exactly like this I kid you not.
Caller:
"I uh remember uh Bush 1, and well during Reagan Administration, uh yeah I don't think George Bush should uh get this award. Uh...remember during the Reagan Administration uh oh yeah we sold missle technology to Iraq"
Brian
"Ok well first of all that was a tactical decision. You have to remember that this was during the cold war. This was during the Iraq/Iran war and we wanted to make sure that Iran did not get all the oil at that time. I am sure that would not happen today."
Then Brian was asking a guest about the Israel/Palestinian situation and he said
"Yesterday there was a Hamas leader shot in the middle of the street. How are going to convince these groups like Hamas and Hizbollah to stop this kind of thing."
And then my favorite from a couple days ago when the announcement that this guy Attash had been captured...Brian said...
"Here is a shock, he's missing a limb.

You can't help but like Fox and Friends. Let's say a prayer for E.D.'s Mom going through cancer surgery today.

Yes.. .thought how refreshing for her to ask (she did get choked up). . .and for Lauren to acknowledge that she would indeed pray for her Mother. . .
. . .Katie would surely not go there. . .

They are all the type of folks you would love to have as friends. Did you see Steve Doosey reach over and place his hand over E.D.'s in an attempt to comfort her? It was really touching. Good people.

E.D. is in fine form this morning about Madonna too. So, by saying you support France's opposition to the war, you are for the rape, murder and abuse of women. You can't have it both ways.

I didn't watch FOX & Friends before Sept. 11th, but later got to know it, fairly well. I really like Brian Kilmeade.
I am always impressed that "the weather guy", and "the sports guy", are so well rounded in their knowledge. I am wondering if before Sept. 11th, they each stuck to their niches? Or, have have Brian, Steve and E.D. always had equal roles in their morning show? After Sept. 11th, there was so much news to digest, we all had a mini-course in history, terrorism, national security, etc... that all staff on FOX had to pick up the pace to keep us informed.
I just wondered if their format had shifted, a little on FOX & Friends. Does anyone know?

They have been a team from the start. There was another guy on with them, but he disappeared. I think he is an actor on Broadway. Anyway, that's the way I remember it.

I love absolutely EVERYONE on this show with the exception of one person and that unfortunately is E.D.
I do feel sorry for her in her current situation and I do wish her mother the best as I would not wish bad will on ANYONE.
I can go into it later as to why I dont like E.D. but its safe to say that she just rubs me the wrong way.
My 2 cents :)
Good day Freepers.

Did anyone see F&F the morning Steve and E.D abandoned Brian on the set? Mancow asked a question and Brian responded with an inappropriate answer. Steve and E.D. walked off and then slowly reached into camera view and grabbed their coffee cups. Steve proceeded to walk back into camera view and remove the set furniture...first the chairs, then the table, then the rug. Brian was left standing alone looking very embarrassed. Then they lowered the lights. Mancow all the while is describing how his relationship with the show had now come to an end. Ultimately the lights were turned off completely.
It was hilarious. I still do not know what was said that started the whole thing.

I've enjoyed watching them lately. Kattie and Matt were making my blood boil and that would get me in a bad mood to start my day.
