I see that the print media is still convinced that cable news operations are non-profit. Somethings never change....sigh....

Let 'em whine.

I followed the link. All the quotes make it appear that Fox and certain MSNBC programs are the "establishment" and those that "are turned off" seek other programming.
Alas, where to begin. MSNBC trying to be more honest over its failed liberal programming? FOX was THE alternative to
the alphabet news, not vice-versa? The "beeb" as a bastion of honest and realistic news reporting?

This is why we need a Conservative versin of "USA TODAY". It would completely shake up the print media. So how come absolutely no rich Republican Businessmen has done this? I don't get it?

Perhaps the reason for the cable news networks going to the right is because they have realized that mainstream American's prefer that. Never occurs to the left that they are not in the majority as far as the viewers are concerned.

What a spot-on post... you know the Hartford area - and the crappy Courant - very well!
Lawrence Cohen is NOT a liberal? Hmmm... will have to check one of his columns out.

Anything to the liberal left of center is "far right" for these socialists. Exactly! There are plenty of these types up here in the northeast - I know them well, unfortunately.
Their perpetual whining is getting a bit tiresome, don't you think? lol
Today the whining was in Hartford, tomorrow it'll be in some other city, with yet another idiotic quote by Michael Wolff (who was whining about some "right wing" thing tonight on MSNBC's "Scarborough Country", BTW). Why is this guy everywhere lately?! :(

I watch Joe Scarborough rather than Greta. I'm finding that I flip back and forth, depending on the topic and/or guest. If Greta spends all or most of her time discussing Scott Peterson with all her legal cronies, I tune out immediately. She had some excellent shows during the war in Iraq though, regarding the war, our military and foreign policy.

It just confounds The Courant, and many of our neighbors for that matter, how Fox can continue to be so popular and garner more and more viewership as the networks and the other cable "news" channels slip further toward oblivion.
