I saw Estrich's ugly face pop up and was just reaching for the remote when Ann was shown. I set the remote back down.

Sorry about that. You're right, though, that definition doesn't help much! Titrate means, generally, to take things in doses or spread out over time.

Yeah, I liked Coulter's smirking dig at Estrich about seeing Democrats in military uniforms. That might have been lost on a lot of people, but Susan Estrich was the campaign manager for Michael Dukakis in '88 when he was ridiculed for donning a way-too-big army helmet and riding in a tank. It made him look like a buffoon and was probably one of the turning points in the race.

Besides, Boortz and O'Reilly both rate pretty high up on my blowhard meter.

It's true Boortz is way up there among blowhards, but the difference between him and O'Reilly is that Boortz doesn't take himself seriously at all, nor does he lose his cool when he's criticized. He lets it roll off like water on a duck's back.

O'Reilly is preposterously self-important and reacts with hostility to anyone who even slightly questions or criticizes him.

I like Boortz. O'Reilly bugs me. He needs to get a sense of humor.

That aside, O'Reilly has definately pushed this issue too hard and too long, almost as if he were trying to find an issue that would somewhat counter the accusations that he is a conservative, as defined by the left. This particular qualification being of the utmost importance, because of O'Reilly's reliance upon perceptions.

This episode is a perfect example of why libs don't make it in talk radio, or any forum where the public has a chance to respond. When your logic gets shredded by the truth, you end up looking naked and stupid. OReilly tries a swing to the left, and the smart people eat his lunch! LOL!

She is great! Do you know her age? Someone said the other day that she will not be old enough to run for Pres. in '08.

The constitution requires a person to be age 35 on election day to run for president. Condi Rice, as young and beautiful as she is, is certainly older than 30, which would make her eligible to run for president in '08.

Did you know she's also a big pro football fan and has even said she'd like to be the NFL commissioner one day? She would be a catch.

Boortz did not condemn the actions of the students but instead defended them by changing the subject and claiming that they had the right to freedom of association.

Are you arguing that they don't? Are they doing anything different than the minority only functions that are state sanctioned and sponsored? Or is the problem, in your mind, the fact that they are white?

I couldn't get the internet feed of Boortz this morning from Atlanta, so am just now (9:00-11:00) getting it on area radio.

Boortz is really blasting O'Reilly.

O'Reilly's on the wrong side of the issue (due to a lack of knowledge and reality on his part) and he doesn't know how to gracefully extracate himself.

Calling Boortz an SOB on air was not really nice---it made for good tv, but seldom, if ever, has a HOST cursed a GUEST on-air. lol.

Some of the students at a HS in Georgia decided to have a private "white" prom off the school campus. O'Reilly has been carrying on about this for a few days now and has challenged the Georgia governor to do something about it including coming on 'The Factor' and explaining it all to O'Reilly. Mainly the governor has ignored O'Reilly but did sent his spokesman (a black woman) to explain that he did not know about it and in any case it was a private event and the governor has no control over 'private' events.

O'Reilly has been raving about it for a few days now and Neal Boortz (apparently, I did not hear it) came to the governors defense on his (Boortz) show.

Last night on his (O'Reilly) show Boortz again defended the governors action and O'Reilly called him one tough SOB.

Earlier (a week or two ago) O'Reilly was at a charatible event that was suppose to have some black boys sing, they were late and O'Reilly quipped that "I hope they're not in the parking lot stealing our hubcaps" which he's taking heat over. Boortz said that O'Reilly's goings-on over the Georgia prom was just cover for O'Reilly's previous comment about the black boys. That's when O'Reilly angrily call Boortz "one tough son-of-a-bitch."

IMO, O'Reilly is way out of line on this.
