Memo to Senator Byrd: Concerning "Desk-bound Presidents Who Assumes The Garb of A Warrior"

In the interest of fair play, I feel like it's my duty to remind Senator Byrd of this incident:

A White House memo, dated June 16, 1994, concerning preparations for President Clinton's trip to Normandy for the 50th anniversary of D-Day:

MEMORANDUM FOR ALL STAFF WHO STAYED ON THE USS GEORGE WASHINGTON

FROM:

OFFICE OF SCHEDULING AND ADVANCE

RE: Reimbursement for Items Removed from the Ship

The executive officer of the USS George Washington has relayed that a number of items were removed from Staterooms on the ship during the White House visit. The following items are unaccounted for:

13 Blue Towels with GW Insignia	$11 each
4 GW Bathrobes with Insignia	$35 each
12 Plain White Bathrobes	$15 each
55 White Towels	$1.80 each

As you know, the ship and the U.S. Navy served as our gracious hosts during this trip. They provided these items for our use, not as souvenirs. They have requested reimbursement of $562 from the White House for the above items.

If you are responsible for removing one or more of these items from the ship, please remit payment to Michael Lufrano in Room 185 of the OEOB. Make any checks payable to the USS George Washington. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call either of us at 456-7560 or Capt. Rogers at 456-2150.

What was the cost of the preparation for the photo op at the Grand Canyon, where trees and shrubs were removed to give a clear picture of the canyon?

And I can only imagine the cost to remove palm trees and shubs to give a clear picture of Hillary's butt when they had the photo op of her dancing with Bill.Remenber that one?

What's got their knickers in a twist is, at least in part, the kind of footage like the sailor on the carrier saying how proud he is that George Bush is his President. I don't recall any military personnel ever saying that about Clinton. The only ones who said that were the felons he pardoned.

Good Lord, I'd forgotten how dorky that man looked in a canoe. Almost as dorky as he looked peering down the barrel of his M-16.

I personally would love to know the cost of all the unnecessary escapades of the Clinton's from the day they took office to the day they left. This would include Secret Service protection during his trysts, personal entertaining of the Hollywood crowd, and let's not forget the timely bombing of the aspirin factory in Afghanistan. I sent the old reprobate a scathing e-mail. Next I'm sending him a copy of the GAO report on clinton's unnecessary travel expenses. And, if I can find it, the report on how Dubya's trip on the jet actually saved money.

Howlin, surely Senator Sheets can remember that Bill Clinton "spontaneously" strolled the beach at Normandy, and lo and behold, he found stones on the beach....and with US military ships in the distance as back drops, he formed a cross with the stones (stones PLANTED there by his aides, as there are no stones on the sandy beaches)....

....but never one to trust only ONE set up for a photo op, the draft dodger then went for another stroll...this time through a cemetery where those who did NOT avoid serving are buried....an once again, after an aid had PLUCKED an Amercian flag UP from a grave, and carefully ROLLED it up and left it for Bill to find, Bill with lower lip firmly being bitten, and only occassionaly lifting his eyes to make sure the cameras were rolling, "prayed" for the poor boy who gave all.

These two episodes tell all one needs to know about Bill Clinton....as Christopher Hithcens said, he is "an appetite in a suit."

As you know, I'm not a member of the Dem Party, but I do think the following image pretty well sums it up about Billy boy's misuse of government property while he was the Prez (I don't like to accord him the real title). For your enhanced viewing pleasure, please note the picture of Karl Marx on the wall; billing records and Vince Foster's briefcase on the table; Hillary's gloved hand — the better to avoid leaving fingerprints; and, of course, Bill and Monica under the presidential desk.
