Bwahahaha! And how much for Hillary's special toilet for the trip to China? (Not forgetting all the millions spent for everything else...)

Good Lord, I'd forgotten how dorky that man looked in a canoe. Almost as dorky as he looked peering down the barrel of his M-16.
He doesn't even know how to hold a paddle. How embarassing. I wish our Kayak Patrol had been handy to dump this guy (wouldn't be hard as high up as he's sitting).

The caption that goes with that AP photo is as follows.....
Vice President Al Gore paddles a canoe down the Connecticut River on the border between New Hampshire and Vermont as part of a campaign swing through New Hampshire, Thursday, July 22, 1999. Gore's canoe trip, one of many quirky moments from this political season, caused a controversy after it was reported that a dam in New Hampshire was opened to release about 4 billion gallons of water so the vice president wouldn't get stuck while paddling. The agency that oversees the river said the water was part of a regular planned release and that only the timing of the release had been changed to accomodate Gore's trip.

But I don't know the cost of the excursion.

Somebody needs to post a picture of Senator Byrd dressed in the "garb of a warrior" for his cameo appearance in "Gods and Generals."

LOL. And all Gore got out of it was to look utterly rediculous.

How much did it cost us to have the US Coast Guard bury JFK Jr at sea?
