Bill is the behind-the-scenes force in 2004.
Hillary is the front-runner for 2008.
Democrats are starting to say nice things about Bill.
Conservatives are beginning to rip Hillary's forthcoming book.
It would be tempting to say the Clintons are back at center stage, but it's not clear they ever left.

I think she'll shoot for '08. Face lift, lots of liposuction and a huge cash warchest to run the usual DEM ads. Who do the REPUBS have positioned for '08? I haven't a clue. Cheney looks as if he will be the VP choice for '04, but he doesn't have a chance as Pres in '08. I suspect a later announcement that, for whatever given reasons, Cheney will not run in '04. Perhaps Condi. She would be a very good contender against HRC in '08.

Perhaps Condi. She would be a very good contender against HRC in '08. She needs experience in campaigning.

Fair point, but ANYONE other than HRC. We don't need any more Clinton time on the national political stage. Enough is enough.

Hillary's book continues to be ignored on Amazon. Try finding it.

In my opinion Hillary goofed on the cover of her book. I think she would have been better off pictured sitting behind a desk instead of "looking" so glamourous - something she has never been. She was made to look SO good that there is no way she can hide the difference between the real and the unreal. In some of the pictures I have seen of her lately she appears very puffy. Like someone who is hitting the booze a bit too much?

From what I know of Condoleeza Rice she would make an excellent candidate and I'd quickly sign up for her campaign. But campaigning is tough and I'd rather see her run with a campaign or two already behind her. Even if it's "just" as VP in 2004.
