Ashton & the Bush Twins Party On!

May 06, 2003

Crazy, sexy, cool actor ASHTON KUTCHER sat down with Rolling Stone magazine to talk JENNIFER ANISTON, getting "punk'd" and partying with the BUSH twins -- JENNA and BARBARA! ET has the juicy rundown of Ashton's tales -- don't miss tonight's show for the story!

For the May 29th issue of the mag, on stands Friday, May 9th, Ashton shares tidbits from his sometimes loco life -- including an unforgettable party with the Bush gals. He tells Rolling Stone: "So we're hanging out ... The Bushes were underage drinking at my house. When I checked outside, one of the Secret Service guys asked me if they'd be spending the night. I said no. And then I go upstairs to see another friend and I can smell the green wafting out under his door. I open the door, and there he is smoking out the Bush twins on his hookah."

Caesar Soze, if it makes you feel any better, most if not all the respondents on this thread are not conservatives, but libertarians. At the very least, they are the neo-con "fiscally conservative/socially liberal" types so common nowadays.

There is no shame in being an honest conservative, nor in being "white bread." You should be proud that you treat your own body with respect. At 21 I felt like the oddest duck out there, because I was still a virgin. At 26 I got to hold the hand of a woman I knew, a 36 year old mother of 2, who was crying and shaking uncontrollably over the abortion she had had 10 years previous. She had been a "party girl," she had gotten pregnant when she was drunk and stoned, and didn't know who the father was, so she killed the child. The look in her eyes, now that she had two living children, told me everything I needed to know about the choices I had made in my own life. You will likely experience much the same thing, compounded.

I dont like that idea. I was 18 yrs not long ago. I was dumber than a box of rocks. Making it easier for me to compound my dumbness with freely attainable booz can only create problems.

That is my opinion, as wrong as you may think it is, its my opinion and so its right. So there.

Yeah, I partied with them to at my swinging bachelor pad. They got their freak on and couldn't get enough of me. And I'll sell my story to anyone who wants it for $50,000.

How tacky of that guy.

Isn't Ashton a girl's name?

I never heard of him, but giving this interview out, whatever, name-dropping the Bush twins, is just plain classless.

I'm nineteen and I can tell you that it pisses me off. Not that I particularly want to drink - the idea of it isn't that appealing, you know, toilet hugging, etc.

It's the PRINCIPLE of the matter, dammit!

I hear you and I agree. I used 19 as the age then because some kids are still in high school.

But if we are going to send 18 year olds to die for this country and vote they sure should be able to have a drink without the fear of an arrest.

I am sorry, but things are a lot worse than they were in the 60s or 70s even. I can hardly imagine "Spring Breaks" casually contemplated, let alone enjoyed by a majority of females in my high school. Of course there were those that would flash their breasts, and gotten drunk and disorderly, but the solid majority would not. Now I find it hard to believe that any would refuse to participate. I have seen grade school girls, being fondled publicly, grabbed by the chest by rows of young boys, and instead of telling, or rebuffing the crude advance, smile and be flattered by the attention. I saw such behaviour in High school in my day, but the girls used in this manner, were known to all as the school slut. Now it is accepted as normal behaviour.

Of course kids did things that parents were alarmed at, but quickly grew up and lived adult lives. Now the only reason that teenagers can quickly meld into the adult world, is that most people refuse to grow up, even into their 50s.

College kids partying?

I'd give that a big "so-what" if their dad wasn't responsible for ruining the lives of less privledged regular Americans for doing to the same thing.

Aye, there's the rub.

That's what every generation of parents has said about every generation of their children since time immemorial.

It doesn't make it false. I see trends, societies slide down a slippery slope towards decadence, and either they have some social revolution to bring them up, or they decay and fall apart. We have had a number of "mini" conservative revolutions I think, and that has kept this country from sliding too far down the gutter.

I am one of those libertarians that thinks just about anything should be legal, doesn't mean I have to like it however. I can understand the Bush twin's wild ways, we all did things like that in the past, but we all grew up and were able to admit (most of us anyways) that it was wrong. I'll call the twins on it now, I think they are acting stupidly. Having said THAT, it really doesn't matter.

Just throwing some ideas around in my head while reading some of your comments: What about lowering the legal drinking age to 19 for people who graduated high school with a high GPA, let's say a 3.5 (on the 4.0 scale)?

I believe this would give students an incentive to do good and reward those who have track record of demonstrating responsiblity.

It might be quite good for them to spend a night or two in the pokey.

Ashton may want to reconsider going public with the info that he serves minors alcohol and has people smoking pot in his house.

He could wind up in the pokey before the Bush twins. They are 21 now and can drink (it is unlikely that they would be prosecuted for drinking as minors now). They were in the presence of someone smoking pot (not necessarily a "safe" place to be if the police enter the residence) but they weren't necessarily smoking it themselves.
