GW Resume
5/2/2003 - New York City

i know, i've been very mean to GW lately, but someone forwarded this to me and i just had to share... George W. Bush Resume

Past work experience: Ran for congress and lost. Bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas, company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock. Bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using tax-payer money. Biggest move: Traded Sammy Sosa to the Chicago Cubs. With fathers help (and his name) was elected Governor of Texas.

Accomplishments-

Changed pollution laws for power and oil companies and made Texas the most polluted state in the Union.

Replaced Los Angeles with Houston as the most smog ridden city in America.

Cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas government to the tune of billions in borrowed money.

Set record for most executions by any Governor in American history.

Became president after losing the popular vote by over 500,000 votes, with the help of my fathers appointments to the Supreme Court.

Accomplishments as president-- Attacked and took over two countries.

Spent the surplus and bankrupted the treasury.

Checked the link, and i can not directly to his *Journal*, which is irritating as heck -- and opens in another window. Anyway, look in his *Journal* for his rants.

I have heard he is quite the hippocrite, and of course *they* always throw the biggest stones.

Whoever wrote this is an ignoramus. He doesn't know how many x41 nominees are on the court. Exactly one, Souter. Who was not disposed to support Bush in the election controversy. He also doesn't know that Texas has a "weak governor" system and therefore he attributes powers to Governor Bush that he simply didn't have. The comment about the most executions by any governor in American history is also bizarre, considering how routinely executions were carried out in the 19th century. This Moby character is an empty-headed loud-mouth and little else.

A friend sent me that recently, in freakin' PDF format, like an actual resume! Of course, it was filled with misspelled words and bad phrasing - unintentional ones, not words like "strategery" meant to imply something about Bush's writing skills. So it's not Moby's.

Besides, Moby always whines about Bush, and then Eminem beats him up. I'll stick with Eminem.

"Set record for most executions by any Governor in American history."

Sounds bogus to me too. I very much doubt there is any factual source that says this. This doesn't go back to 19th century but certainly the numbers then were higher.

Eminem scuffled with Moby and smacked him around a bit. Still beats up on him lyrically.

Sounds bogus to me too.

It's bogus even if the numbers ARE true, because under Texas law, the governor has almost NO say in executions. The most Bush could have done was to postpone each execution for a few months, after whch the state execution board would simply has overruled Bush and rescheduled the execution.

Anyone who brings up the "Bush is an Executioner Maximus" line is either an imbecile or an intentional liar, and should be ignored.

Yep. Also, Russel Crowe once cornered him and threatened to rough him up (I forget why).

Moby's a dweeb who has a computer generate all of his music. He doesn't even sing. Then he goes on tour and spins disks and sound effects and gets paid big bucks for it. He'll be in Moscow soon (maybe tomorrow?) and they're charging the equivalent of 1/2 the avg. monthly salary here for people to go watch this bald little shrimp of a "man" play records. If they're that stupid to pay the money - let them. However, I think it might be time for Kid Rock to pay him a visit!

He's probably hoping for some "Dixie Chicks" type publicity to get some attention paid to his waning star...

PS - Emenim (sp?) mocks him in his videos...

Jeepers, how could I have forgotten CT?? It's one of the few great things Bush the Elder did in office and he should get full credit for it.

It amuses me that Moby got beat up. This is what happens when you project an image of weakness. Another Rumsfield doctrine bears out: weakness is more provocative than strength. There's no need in dignifying Moby's political remarks- Bush has degrees from Harvard and Yale. Moby highest academic accomplishment is that he graduated from high school, hence the infantile world view.

You are right...i do not think this originated with Moby, but he perpetuates the rant by putting it in his (widely read) blog.

and he rants A LOT about Bush in general.

It's Moby. He is a raving twit and can be safely ignored, same as it ever was. He has plenty of weird beliefs grounded solely in neurotic fantasy episodes, not just these ones.
