Your efforts are already working!
Late last week, we got word that the Supreme Court could be re-thinking it's "No Prayer Zone" policy. I am convinced the petition you signed is already having an impact!
But the next few days could be critical. Here's what's happening.
A short time ago, I along with three other ministers were denied permission to pray at the Supreme Court in recognition of this Thursday's National Day of Prayer -- further confirmation of the Court's "no prayer zone" policy.
Then last week, the Court sent a letter to one of the ministers who had made the request. The letter indicated that the prayer "would appear to be consistent" and would be allowed.
Right now, it is unclear precisely what the Supreme Court's position is, but it seems the Court may be relaxing its "no prayer zone" policy.
Still, with the Court sending so many mixed signals, we are seeking a meeting with the Marshal of the court this week for official clarification. Plus, we are planning on holding a news conference in front of the Supreme Court.
I need your help.
I want to present at least 20,000 petitions to the Marshal, but that means we need more than 6,000 signed petitions in the next 48 hours!
* * * * * ACTION ITEM -- ALERT YOUR FRIENDS! PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO YOUR FRIENDS AND URGE THEM TO SIGN THE PETITION BY CLICKING HERE:
I am convinced that it is no coincidence that the Court's Marshal seems to be changing the no prayer policy just DAYS after we launched this petition! I know that many friends called the Court expressing concern about the "no prayer zone" policy.
If we will continue to stand, we can see prayer restored to the grounds of the court.
THANK YOU!

P.S. The next 48 hours are crucial. Please sign the petition and alert your friends.
