Topic: Military Morale
****Norfolk-Marines Ordered to Masquerade Before TV Cameras as Adorning Throng For Clinton Speech
The Ken Hamblin Show
MORE ON THE PARTICULARS OF POTUS' VIRGINIA SPEECH
Ken Hamblin Show
KSFO radio, Hot Talk 560 KSFO
5000 invited, 500 showed.
Faxes were sent to personnel and families indicating that buses would be provided for the trip to Norfolk Naval Air Station. Personnel were anxiously begged to forward attendee number estimates to higher-ups.
The cavernous hanger for the speech was estimated to be the side of 2 football fields.
Echoes caused by the curious acoustics were described as a big problem.
For the purpose of upholding appearances, 4 platoons of Marines were ordered to stand-in and fill the gap left between the camera dias and the stage for POTUS' speech. In this manner, these crowded-together soldiers appeared in view of the TV cameras.
The small crowd waiting to shake the hand of the Pres were only 2 or 3 deep. Because of the small size, it was the first time that the man could recall that any and all wanting to shake POTUS' hand were, in fact, able.
The man remarks that he took the chance to shake POTUS' hand, since it would likely be his chance to do so with ANY US President.
The rest of the crowd, he notes, "moved out smartly".

ROFL!
I'd like to see any Dim-0-Wit have our Outstanding Servicemen and women fawn over them like they did for "W" last night. I was soooo envious of them.
I love my President! He's a CLASS ACT, unlike any rat could ever hope to be.

I wonder how many of the ones who didn't show ended up getting audited by the IRS?

Always good to remember how lucky we are now.

The small crowd waiting to shake the hand of the Pres were only 2 or 3 deep. It is absolutely amazing to me that this man can continue to get up in the morning. He knows what a failure he was and is. Yet the illusion is his only hope.
The look on this man's face when W gave the speech in the Cathedral after 9-11 was very telling. His economy was a bubble, his presidency was a bubble, his popularity was a bubble. His very existance is a bubble.
If he weren't so evil, I would pity him.

Marines go where they are ordered, and do what others won't.
Even x42 couldn't tarnish the few, the proud.
They honored the office, not the miserable excuse for a man that held it.

Clinton wouldn't give a speech on an aircraft carrier at sea. They couldn't bus in the labor unions and welfare recipients.

The most disgusting photo I ever saw was the one of that Marine saluting the golf bag. Remember? Clinton's people from the White House actually had military helicoptors land on the golf course to drop them off and pick them up after a round. I would love to find that picture.

"I am honored to be your Commander in Chief"
so said Bush yesterday.
I wonder how long it is since a President said that?

The democRATs are grousing about staging events.
Oh my, how can we forget warrior Klintoon, followed by marines storming and taking the White House front lawn on every occasion he could summon up.
Or how about that D-Day re-enactment when he stormed the beaches at Normandy and took them all by himself. Now by gob stick, there was a CIC. NOT!!!
