You might notice the traffic is a little lighter today than the last time you were here. That's because we've run into a tough patch here in the Silicon Valley.
But before we get into that, we want to offer congratulations on the war in Iraq. We hope you'll leverage that victory -- by applying the same focus to the economy and to the Israeli-Palestinian dispute.

I'm glad I found this to post.
In short, we're in a world of hurt, and we could use some help.
Where do I start? These are trying times, indeed, and I wish we could try the idiots on the DemRatic side of the aisle in the state legsilature for trying to buy votes by spending like there is no tomorrow.
We have had inept leadership foisted on us thru the manipulation and collusion of the media, this paper included, and now they have the audacity to lay it all on President Bush's doorstep.
Nah...you're just a whiney bunch of socialist @$$holes and y'all suck. Nothing personal, just business. Y'all f'off now, ya hear!!
Maybe it's time you all just stood up on your haunches and finally showed some of that brain power you're so celebrated for and denounce the Demoncrats. Then, do all in your power to back George W. Bush.
I checked the map. You know, the election map marked red and blue. Yup that one. From what I can tell you need to go talk to Al Gore. Yup, that one.
It never ceases to amaze me how a bunch of left wing anti-capitolists get upset when their business fail because they are pushing more taxes and government regulation. Want to see the real high point in leftist anti-capitolism? Take a little trip to Cuba. Meet with Fidel, the darling of the California elite. Ask him how many high tech jobs he has created.
Well, gotta go now. There are folks that supported me that I need to see.
By by Y'all,
George
NO...return the money to the people. We can spend it much better than the state.
As to adressing this to President Bush, perhaps you should send it to Boxer and Feinstein instead. As to unemployment, didn't the Bay Area Democrates, along with the Republicans, expand the H1B program? Many of us would have jobs if they didn't open our doors to the offshore workers...
But the civic leaders of San Jose alone have found it in their hearts to budget and now are spending $343 million dollars at last estimate on a new Govt Pagoda in downtown San Jose.
Responsible? 8-|
All to bring the many agencies and bureaucrats into one central location, they say. While dozens of perfectly fine buildings in the area are empty and could have been leased and used to consolidate agencies, but No, City Hall (run by demRats) knows best, Don't they?
Don't even try and touch Rummy. You are so unworthy to even impugn the man.
Appease your enemies and they will love and respect you. LOL.
Only a total DUH! on a mindless rant and parroting useless rhetoric can equate the ability of a US president to solve the Israeli-Palestinian 'duspute' (HAH) with focussing on strengthening the economy.
Note to the author: you're seeing Free Market Darwinism at work. You wanna survive? Getting rid of that socialist crook, Bill Clinton mini-me you've got for a governor and electing a supply sider in his place is a start.
Oh, I think the kids and their parents are getting quite an education .. They are seeing firsthand what a runaway socialist state govt can do when no one reins them in or when they hide behind the skirts of papers like yours to get elected. Without variance, your paper endorses incumbents that do nothing more then tax and spend the populace until they leave the state and take their business with them.
Love the sinner, Hate the sin. Ever hear that one? Grow up, editor. Your feeble attempt to save face and pass blame on is sadly falling short.
States Rights is the answer to all the listed problems. Get rid of Davis and we can take care of our owm economic situation.
The Tech "Bubble" was a fricking bubble.
A Market "Correction" is a fricking correction.
When all the companies like Bank of America were spending the money to move from a paper system to a digital system that was a bubble expenditure. Would you expect them to spend that money every single year? No.
Well, considering that only a moron would expect that, maybe you pinheads did.
Anyway, all the rest of us knew that once the equipment was bought and the infrastructure was built, only upkeep and minor upgrades would be invested in for the next 10 years or so.
If you didn't foresee the bubble, and you over-invested in your capacity, you are now experiencing a correction.
Live with it, retards. It's how the world works.
