The PLO will want to take ALL the land and drive all the Jews out of Israel. A palestinian state will be a terrorist state that will have more political power to attempt to destroy what tiny bit of Israel may be left.

That's true. Remember, their phased plan of 74 calls for destabilizing and uniting with Jordan first, before a final assault on Israel, so we'll be looking at some turmoil.

The Palestinians still have the absolute destruction of Israel in their charter. They have also trained up an entire generation of people, beginning in early childhood, to hate Jews. There is no way that they can simply turn them off.

I just had to BUMP your Post. If you realize this and I realize this as the fact that they truly are, how is it that the top 10 Levels in the USA Gov't cannot see this or??? If you're stressing numbers - that's 375,000 versus several million Palestinians

Several million Palestinians living in unbelievable filth and squalor in UN-maintained refugee camps. You want to leave them there forever because of logistics?

Obviously there is not going to be enough room for them in the empty settlements even if you do get your wish and the 375,000 Jews are expelled.

Obviously, since the UN, Russia and the EU worked GW's original ideas into a written plan, the road map is not quite the same as GW had intended. If I remember correctly, Palestinians were required to end the violence, terrorism and terrorist groups, and have political reform before any action is required by Israel. Now as you can see with this road map worked by the EU, UN, and Russia, Israel has obligations regardless of what the Palestinians do and that's totally unfair to Israel.
