Gee let me see if I can understand (another word for comprehend) your point of view..

1) You think that because you pay taxes that those taxes are to fund your personal hobbies, habits, and pleasures, instead of you funding them with your own money.

2) You would rather be required to pay an enormous sum of money after you get rescued than to pay a bonding fee (read: user fee) that goes into a pool of funds to rescue others as well, who partake in extreme hobbies.

3)You think I'm an elitist who wants to deprive you of some right you have to enjoy nature because my OVERLY stated position is personal, individual responsibility.

Hey I think I met you once..

My wife and I were ENJOYING the wonders of Whidbey Island one Sunday and on the way home we decided to take the ferry back to the mainland.

Well the line on Sunday afternoons was quite long (over a mile), so we decided to bypass the jam and pull into a small tavern to wait it out. Now as we were driving ahead this one person about midway down (that means half mile) had just decided not pull forward. The gap was rather large, at least 400 feet to the next car, so we pulled in as did quite a few others.

Later, as we were about to pull onto the ferry a WSP Trooper came up and asked if we had taken cuts in line.

Now I must ask, were you the tattle tail that day?
