E.D. Hill: "Laura has a hottie on her hands"
Foxnews
Posted on 05/02/2003 4:19:09 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
Fox and Friends talking about the President yesterday.
E.D.:
"I'll tell you what, Laura has a hottie on her hands. Look how good he looks. We sound like a bunch of cheerleaders for him but he was fantastic! You could tell he looked so stoked and so excited to be there."
Kilmeade: "They said Lincoln was a hottie too."
Doocy:
"If your a Democratic presidential candidate..maybe you should just join a lobbyist group for the next four years or something. Cause I don't think your going to be taking that man's job anytime soon."

Yall women need to suck that drool back up off your faces. LOL
To: Coop; Motherbear
Coop - as a girl, I am not the best judge, but I personally find Jennifer much sexier than Laurie, although maybe Laurie is classicly prettier.
motherbear - that comment by your teen is hilarious. Bet you didn't know whether to laugh or be proud that she has such good taste.

I was watching CNN morning and that @#*8)) women who was interviewing the pilots of the aircraft was so negative, I almost broke the off button, in my rush to turn off the TV....
what the heck is with modern women; that they have to view everything in a negative prospective????

classicly = classically (need more coffee).
To: Coop
AT first I thought the same (that maybe the comments were over the top), but the left never hesitated to gush. After eight years of Clinton sold to us as so "hot"--(when his doughy, leering mug and insinuating voice was such a turnoff for a woman of REAL taste)-- the eye candy was of high quality yesterday.
Hey, it might even get a few votes from the soccer moms...

Yes, but ED admitted that they sound like cheerleaders. FOX and Friends was just joining in the fun. After the past several months, we all need a little more fun... and the president is taking the lead.

Oh, me, too!! He has "ALL THE RIGHT STUFF." All the women in our family swoon when we see this President. It is such a relief to have a real man in charge of our nation. He is going to do his best to protect all of us..His courage and strength bowls me over. I am constantly drawing the attention of our little boys to the President..We want them to aspire to be like him. I might add that his fidelity to the First Lady makes him even more attractive.

" Does anyone know the reason the one kept his hand around the President's back the whole time he was greeting the sailors?"
That's standard practice especially when he's working a line. I'd say it's done just in case Dubya trips, starts falling forward, or has to be pulled back quickly off the line. While one would never expect a violent act by one of our nation's finest, "better safe than sorry," I always say. We never thought one of our soldiers would throw grenades at, or fire at his fellow soldiers, but it happened. You can never be too careful...especially when it comes to President Bush. I think the SS guys feel as strongly about him as our troops do, and it would kill them if anything happened to him that they could have possibly prevented.

You both make good points, especially about needing some levity after the war. And, as someone said earlier, the critics will always bash FNC. I just don't like seeing the network provide the critics with ammo.
But trust me, I'll still be watching!

i can't even IMAGINE what the negative perspective would be of that event. only some bush-hater could make it negative, any rational person would see it as a feel good, all-american event.

I agree with you totally...plus, they are funny, and it makes a great start to the day. I also like how E.D. and Brian, sometimes take the Devil's Advocate point of view. It might not be their own personal belief or feeling, but they sometimes do try to get another point of view across.

Let's hope no one really important reads this thread...we wouldn't want all of this to get back to the President and it go to his head!!

A breath of fresh air going from the last "Commander In Briefs" to "Top Gun"!
Hey, Laura...he's all yours! Really, he is.

Yes, but ED admitted that they sound like cheerleaders. FOX and Friends was just joining in the fun GOOD POINT, those that gushed over the bubbaloon NEVER admitted to being cheerleaders. they held themselves out as only reporting objective news items!

they have me howling ! my husband has more of Coop's view and he kind of rolls his eyes, but to me there is something to be said for having news presented and opined about, as if from a bar stool!

Speaking of Laura, is it wrong of me to notice the rack she has on her?

"I think she looks like a beauty queen."
She was a beauty queen in her younger days, Miss Minnesota, 1984.

Okay ladies, these "W is hot" threads are starting to make FR sound like a giggly teen sleepover party. ;-) At this rate, Bush is going to the first President to appear on the cover of Tiger Beat.

As much as I would like for this to be true, F&F has only overtaken CBS's Morning Show in the ratings for a couple of weeks. The Today show far outranks F&F, but there is time....
