E.D. Hill: "Laura has a hottie on her hands"
Foxnews

Posted on 05/02/2003 4:19:09 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Fox and Friends talking about the President yesterday.

E.D.:
"I'll tell you what, Laura has a hottie on her hands. Look how good he looks. We sound like a bunch of cheerleaders for him but he was fantastic! You could tell he looked so stoked and so excited to be there."

Kilmeade: "They said Lincoln was a hottie too."

Doocy:
"If your a Democratic presidential candidate..maybe you should just join a lobbyist group for the next four years or something. Cause I don't think your going to be taking that man's job anytime soon."

and it is killing the Dems, as well as the leftist media, that it is a REPUBLICAN president that has this advantage instead of one of their own. exactly. let them choke on their own bile : )

We must not get too confidant. There are still Senate seats and other that positions that need work.
Besides look what happened to his father. His ratings were really high after the Gulf War than zap.
"It the economy...." We MUST work on the economy! spend! SPEND! SPEND! :^)

They do that every time the President (any President) is working a crowd. The agent immediately behind the President with his hand lightly on his waist is the detail's lead agent. By keeping light physical contact, it helps him respond instantaneously to the President's movements, and also to the need to instantaneously pull him away should sudden danger arise. The fraction of a second it would take for the agent to move his hand to the President in such a situation (if it weren't already in place on his waist) could mean the difference between life and death.

The amazing thing about that carrier landing was the near universal respect and amazement it drew from people all across the political spectrum and across all ages. Living in the Los Angeles metro area, and being politically active, naturally I know some hard Left partisans. Even they enjoyed seeing that landing and the way the sailors mobbed the President in his flight suit. These Leftists will still work and vote for the Dem or Green candidate, but to a person they have a new and genuine respect for our Dubya.

Don't take this personally, but that is exactly how clinton got elected - by women voting with their ovaries.

Of course I'm viewing this from the perspective of a hetero guy, but I'm guessing that even to liberal women, Clinton now looks like a flabby, red-nosed whiney lardbutt next to W. in a flight suit.

And if women do indeed vote with their ovaries in 2004, Hillary is dead meat.

No denying it, yesterday was a photo op. But the master of the photo op was Reagan, and look where it got him. Bush Elder, however, was master of the bland, and he quickly fizzled out. W. knows how to play the game, and I am glad of that. I would say that the 2004 election was won yesterday, not because of the event, but because the event demonstrated that W. can and will generate the campaign imagery that will capture the Emotional Vote.

Since he already has the Common Sense Vote, what does that leave the liberals?

It's like Fred Barnes mentioned the other night (I'm paraphrasing), "Clinton didn't even know HOW to salute the military, much less be like one of them". Bush has everything Clinton lacked. Character, class, integrity and complete and utter sincerity. We are so lucky to have this man as our president. God bless him!
