So is that Navy-1? Can't be AF-1 and Marine 1 is usually a rotor.

10-4. The plane was marked "Navy 1" per the pictures. The whole event was great IMO!

You could see the landing looked high from the FNC cameras. Much higher than the plane that carried Andy Card that landed just ahead of Navy One. At first, I thought they were going to overfly and come around a second time.

The designation is not the airplane itself, it goes with the President. If he's in an AF plane, it's Air Force One; Marine helicopter: Marine One; Navy plane: Navy One.

Note there's more than one 747 for the president. If they fly one of them out to Boeing for some changes, it's just another airplane. But when the President is on board, that's what makes it Air Force One.

A little high, a little hot, a fourth wire snag, not to worry, unless the pilot utters "Opps" under his breath. Then worry, pray and worry.

I think that this is so wonderful in that President Bush went by airplane to the Abraham Lincoln Carrier. He is a wonderful guy and what is the best about it is that he always quotes Biblical passages. Go President Bush and God Bless him and all of our Servicemen and women.
