Neil Cavuto's commentary Maybe you will tell me what this or any other opinion piece has to do with fair and balanced reporting.

LOL I typed "www.furiousfrenchman.com" into my address bar, and got nothing. Bummer. It sounded hilarious.
E.D. on Fox & Friends was the reason I started watching it in the first place. Whadda tomatah!

Hey, you're challenging the group-think. Stop it!

Cavuto does understand "battling difficulties" as he has MS. He addressed this a few months ago in a commentary after a listener "scolded" him for not mentioning it more often.

I missed that this morning. I was taking my son to work and had the Imus program on, while driving home. What a mistake that was! Imus was ragging on the Fox News Channel, specifically E.D., Brian and Steve on Fox and Friends First. He repeatedly called them phonies, then rambled on about how he only likes O'Reilly, is a good friend of Roger Ailes', but that the Fox News Channel is bad news and that the people who watch it are trailer park trash. I wrote Fox and Friends to let them know, then I wrote Imus the following:
Imus:
Great way to start the morning, listening to you bad mouth Fox News Channel and calling their watchers trailer park trash. Well, I don't live in a trailer, or a trailer park, and still found your comments rather disgusting. Since I'm a Fox News Channel watcher, and since you choose to label me as trailer park trash, and since up until this morning I had been listening to your radio program, I guess that you could say you attract trailer park trash too. You underestimate the people who are Fox watchers. At least I know when I'm being demeaned, but unlike most of your listeners, I refuse to put up with it. I could care less what you think of the people who work for Fox News, but when you attack the people who watch it and also listen to your program, that takes the cake! I'd rather listen to the so-called "phony" people at Fox News, than listen to the "yes men" you have on your program who speak lock-step with you as if you were broadcasting from Nazi Germany. You might want to take a long, hard look at yourself before you call someone else "trailer trash."

But it could also be why this conservative cringes whenever he hears that "fair and balanced" BS. Please -- get your eyes checked. They bring on just as many people we cannot stand to watch -- do a search through the threads of this site.

The other morning shows are bastions of journalism and feature such informative snippets like cooking the books with Martha Stewart.

Your right, F&F should have burned the American flag as a counter-balance to the Frenchman!

But it could also be why this conservative cringes whenever he hears that "fair and balanced" BS. And the alphabet networks are? Nothing makes you happy, huh?
You know, if you have a problem with conservatives being conservatives on TV, then maybe you should stop watching TV.

In my humble opinion, it was a little flat. Too cheap.
But, I really don't care for the morning programs and CSPAN is nut job central in the morning.
Back to Tech TV (which is Lefty central but at least it is a bit interesting).

I think it was perfect! They are simply doing what the viewers want them to do.

Are you having fun yet? It was just a joke. My husband agrees with you, though.

OORAH! Way to go, Neil!!

By Neil Cavuto I get critiques all the time, of course, but a missive from Harold E., prompts some elaborating. He e-mails the following:
"Cavuto, for a guy who never served his country or knew combat and likely hasn't know a day of physical hardship in his life, you have a royal nerve pulling off this Yankee Doodle Dandy crap. Give it a rest."
Well, first off, Harold, you don't have to serve in battle to know what battling difficulties is all about. I'll just leave that at that. And second, you don't have to serve in battle to appreciate those who do.
You go on to say my rah-rah patriotism wears on you. May I suggest you simply switch the channel. But before you do, hear this: I don't think it's a big deal to say a big thank you to those who protect me and you.
I don't think you have to wear a uniform to appreciate the uniform. I don't think it's a big deal to be grateful, or proud. I don't think it's a big deal to say I'm partial to a country I love, over a career I like.
You talk about my wearing patriotism on my sleeve. Try grasping it in your heart.
You say I'm hopelessly biased. You're exactly right.
I favor a country that fights evil over others that ignore it. I favor sticking up for soldiers all too many ignore. And I'm a shill for values I hold dear, than the rambling diatribes of dictators I do not.
You call me a moneyman with no heart. I call you an empty man with no soul
