Fox and Friends HILARIOUS!! WOW!!!
Posted on 05/01/2003 4:54:30 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
Fox and Friends just had a guy on dressed up like a Frenchman with a phony french accent.
He took a sledge hammer to these little yellow heads...and put them in this big pot....
He said he was making weasel stew....
Then he took a sledgehammer to the Dixie Chicks CD..and put it in the pot...
Next he got a cover picture of Susan Sarandon and ripped it apart...put it into the pot...
Then he got another yellow head...and said it was Chirac..hammered it.... and put it into the pot...Brian Commented its YELLOW!!! Said it looked just like Chirac!
Then he ripped up the Dixie Chicks magazine cover...put it into the pot.
Then he said "Now we pour this no good French Wine into the pot"
Then he put butter into the pot...saying...The only thing the French like better than butter is the surrender!!
Said you could go to www.furiousfrenchman.com I believe.

I missed it was too funny and you know this is the ONLY station that would allow this to happen. What was the breaking news?

I heard that, I think she's full of garbage, but I would have ordered the Calif. wine, though.

I love it - when you have 5 people on the other side of the teeter-totter, you need to jump a little harder to try to balance the overall picture. besides, when FOX interviews left-wingers, they bring on some doozies and actually let them say their piece, only asking them to clarify/explain. The other networks either don't bring on the opposition, or they shout them down and then shmooze the lefties they bring on. I find FOX refreshing and encouraging - they seem intent on letting the world know the real differences between left/right agendas and pointing out the real insanities of many of the lefties - America needs the help and FOX provides some.
I agree wholeheartedly. I do think they are a bit more right leaning then any other station, but they did bring in the other POV frequently and then may or may not refute it. The libs have all of the other stations, on their side, let us have this ONE.

Cringe all you want. But it's about time we had something that was fair and balanced.

Oh, how I love Cavuto's missives. He does hit the nail on the head and pulls no punches.
RIGHT ON NEIL!!!

Missed it. My TiVo only has a 30 minute buffer. Sounds funny, though.

Vs. CNN where they lie to the DumbaCrat voter for 10 years... I think I would rather have Fair and Balanced then left wing lies, but some people like they lies. I wonder what else CNN/ABC/CBS is lieing about Cuba maybe ?

If you have a problem with this, then I suggest you read Neil Cavuto's commentary from yesterday.
I missed it yesterday and wanted to read it myself. I went to the Fox site and couldn't find it. I may have missed it, do you happen to have a link?

I wish I had seen the antics of this fake French guy. I usually check what's happening on Fox and Friends, but I was enjoying Carl Cameron's discussion (C-Span2) with High School students about politics and journalism.
That "french" guy sounds even more interesting than the anarchists that got so much air time on C-Span and other channels around the time of tthe 2000 elections and the inauguration.
The antics that the anarchists were planning were over the top. The antics of the anti-war protesters have gotten lots of major air time, too.
Come to think of it ... C-Span's Washington Journal has given so much time to guests who were spokespersons for Muslim countries and European countries who were anti-US, that it's nice to know Fox is letting someone with a different viewpoint exercise his right to freedom of expression. It's a nice spoof of the cooking segment of morning shows, and newsworthy as well.
I wish I had seen it...

If you have a problem with this, then I suggest you read Neil Cavuto's commentary from yesterday. This is worth posting (the last line is the clincher):
I get critiques all the time, of course, but a missive from Harold E., prompts some elaborating. He e-mails the following:
"Cavuto, for a guy who never served his country or knew combat and likely hasn't know a day of physical hardship in his life, you have a royal nerve pulling off this Yankee Doodle Dandy crap. Give it a rest."
Well, first off, Harold, you don't have to serve in battle to know what battling difficulties is all about. I'll just leave that at that. And second, you don't have to serve in battle to appreciate those who do.
You go on to say my rah-rah patriotism wears on you. May I suggest you simply switch the channel. But before you do, hear this: I don't think it's a big deal to say a big thank you to those who protect me and you.
I don't think you have to wear a uniform to appreciate the uniform. I don't think it's a big deal to be grateful, or proud. I don't think it's a big deal to say I'm partial to a country I love, over a career I like.
You talk about my wearing patriotism on my sleeve. Try grasping it in your heart.
You say I'm hopelessly biased. You're exactly right.
I favor a country that fights evil over others that ignore it. I favor sticking up for soldiers all too many ignore. And I'm a shill for values I hold dear, than the rambling diatribes of dictators I do not.
You call me a moneyman with no heart. I call you an empty man with no soul.

The breaking news was a cut to George W and the World Day of Prayer gathering. It was wonderful and was already being covered by MSNBC. CNN did not cover it at all. No surprise there. How could they continue to represent the Arab world if they show thiings like this? Just can't believe that network.
