A Simple Request - Put My Son's Name on a Bomb
E-Mail
Posted on 04/30/2003 9:01:32 PM PDT by SAMWolf
One of my family friends who is a Vietnam Veteran and Retired New York City Police Department Sergeant lost his son on 9/11 at the WTC. Last week he contacted the Marines requesting his son's name (Jason Sekzer) be written on one of the bombs we drop on Baghdad. To his surprise, Will received the following e-mail and 3 photos from Major Joe Boehm stationed in Kuwait. Gotta love our troops.....

Bombs Away indeed!
Great story, and a tribute to not only the men and women who died at the WTC, and on 9/11, but also to the dedication of our men and women of the Armed Services!

Great, great story!I'm saving this to use as ammo for all those who don't believe in capital punishment or revenge because, they say, they're not the "deterrent" everyone says they are. I always tell them . . . "Maybe not, pal, but the jackass executed won't kill anyone else." Then I go into the spiel that sometimes, although it might be the unChristian-like thing to do, revenge is salve sorely needed for the soul.
