Guess you won't be buying Hillary's book. Just don't have a senior moment and spill a super large black coffee all over the display.

Maybe the opportunity will soon arise to do this for each and every one of our 911 victims!

Cantor Fitzgerald survived and has rebuilt itself in midtown Manhattan.  There have been lots of  gripes about the company in the aftermath but it's hard to say what they should or even could have done.

As the towers fell, I was on 34th street ensuring our computer system stayed up to handle the volume of "chat" traffic that was inundating the system.  One guy was running around asking me and others how we could continue to work while the towers were falling.  We knew that since the phone lines were down or clogged, that people were using our system to stay in touch.  It was imperative that we keep our system running.

Such is the case with those that survived in Cantor Fitzgerald.  Where they to completely give up, or carry on?  Carry on they did.

A recent story on the company:

Cantor Fitzgerald survived despite losses

Thanks. I take it you work for the company. I was calling up (radio shows) every time I heard someone who 'claimed' to work for CF saying Lutnick was a a-hole. No matter the man, I admire even draw inspiration from dedicated employees that help rebuild after the tragedy.

The only thing to have made it better would have been if it had been one of the bombs dropped on known terrorist traning centers, or possibly one of the Bunker Busters dropped on APR 7.

Nope, not an employee but friendly with one of the widows who was married to a high school acquaintance that worked for Cantor Fitzgerald (Kenny Tarantino).  Bayonne's a small town even with 60,000 people.

Great story. Dorothy Rabinowitz has a good article on Opinion Journal, tonight, that you might want to check out.

Now this is awesome! Oh how I wish I could send a personal thank you to all involved.

For the record: The weapon this tribute was written on is a 2000 pound, Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) GPS guided bomb. It's big, it's ugly and it's always lethal, just like we love them.

Sounds to me like they picked a good one to write his name on!
