I'm never sure where to respond when changing threads....
Regarding Kissinger's, 'all previous [midEast] peace plans have failed': I have to state here that (this is being rather presumptuous, I know) I have long believed that the tendency for the State department, and I DO MEAN Kissinger, too, has LONG been far too gullible in dealing with the Arabs. Lying is not just an aberration for them, it is a way of life. That is not to say that we can not find a way to do business with them, but it is to say that we have to realize that this lying is going on. I've understood this since I was just out of college ... I can't believe that Kissinger, and his buddies, et al, have not.

I can only hope the Arabic leaders will repsepct strength, not weakness.
Can you image what Arafat felt like when he found out that Clinton had kept HIM waiting outside the White House (for no apparent reason and without ANY excuses!) for two hours while Lewinski (a young Jewish wh*re, in his (Arafat's) opinion) serviced Bill ....
Then Clinton left the Oval Office and calmly shook hands with Arafat after just finished masterbating ...
..................
Now, with THAT refreshing image in your mind, try negotiating with Arafat honestly.

Naturally, I post in the last few posts of the old thread. This is a repost from the last posts of the last thread.
Thanks for posting the link to the whole interview, Bud. These 'newspeople' are either total dipshits or propagandists. Prolly a mix of both, just like the majority of our illustrious media. I was pleasantly surprised to read that the Kurdish north prefers FOX news. Shows they have good taste. My local Kurdish grocer was not surprised at that when I informed him of that fact tonight.
I think, with just a little luck, the FREE flow of info throughout the M.E. from Iraq will totally change the face of M.E. politics in the years to come.

Potential freepers over in Iraq?
In the two weeks since Kirkuk fell to a mix of Kurdish and US forces, free media outlets have been busting out all over:An Internet cafe opened its doors;
--snip--
His friend, Abbas Ali, concurs. "We used to go to sleep at 10 p.m. Now we stay up until 4 or 5 a.m. because we can't get enough." Still desperate for war news, they tune to CNN, BBC, and what appears to be a local favorite, Fox. They like it, people here say, because it has been the most supportive of the war.
Free Iraqis Prefer Fox News!!!!!

Its breathing to them. I don't understand either why some others do not see this.
