[history]
Celebrity watchers at this year's Indianapolis 500 will have their eyes on more than the usual gang of big names from TV, music and sports. If that gray-haired guy standing behind Wynonna Judd looks familiar, it's probably former President Bill Clinton.

Bren Simon has been a Clinton friend and supporter for years. She serves on the financial advisory board for the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library Foundation. Simon said she and Clinton will be in Little Rock, Ark., for presidential library business on May 23. Clinton and a few other library benefactors will then fly to Indianapolis. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., will not attend. Doesn't this relationship just sound a little too cozy?! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

It's an appropriate venue for him:
A race to see who can make the most Left turns the fastest.

He is only going down there so he can visit the party area around the RVs. There is a whole lot of FLASHING going on.

Please let him be the obnoxious drunkard who runs out into 220 mph traffic in an attempt to moon the crowd...
No, wait, drivers could get hurt.

I would be far more impressed if he was STARTING at the Indy 500.

Does Clinton,a member of the party that is supposedly for the common man, have any working class friends?
Where are all his "good old boy" old friends from Arkansas?
He's pitiful.

I could care less what Clintoon does. He thinks he's some sort of American Royalty. Someone should tell him he means nothing.

Golfers from all over the world flew in to the Dominican Republic for Alfy Fanjul's 17th annual Sugar Golf Tournament and Bren and Mel Simon's "Safari Gala" in the gardens of their spectacular house, "Casa Luna" in Casa de Campo.
Tax breaks for the "rich"...

So he wants to replace Andy Granatelli as "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing"?
Seriously this will most likely ruin the race for me, much as Maria Carrie did at the Daytona 500 when she wore that Gawd-Awful-Way-Too-Tight-Pseudo-Driving-Suit and the cameraman trying to catch as many camel toes as possible. I was ill.

"Black and White" gala? LOL!
NASCAR is not well represented with "minority" drivers.
Clinton must be slipping.

Oh my. What have we done to deserve this?
The track cleaned up the snake pit at Turn 1, I guess the party has moved to the Simon suite.
