No charges will be filed against a store manager who shot and killed a would-be robber last week. The dead man's juvenile accomplice, however, isn't so fortunate.

Authorities said today that Timmy Lee Taylor, 16, was charged as an adult with murder, attempted robbery and carrying a handgun without a license - even through he didn't shoot cohort Dimitri Bullock.

..Indiana law allows for a felony murder charge if there are two or more people in the process of committing a felony, and one of the two criminals dies as a result.

Nice law. Basically the criminal is responsible for his actions. I'm certain some liberal will work to throw this law out. But in the mean time, I'm loving it.

Impressive.

"Taylor was arrested for carrying a handgun without a license, a misdemeanor, last Sept. 19"......sure glad those gun laws keep the criminals off the street.

An off duty cop in Nashville a few years ago dropped four perps when they tried to rob a restaurant where he was eating.

Our jails are so over-crowded - you wouldn't believe how bad, and that's another story.........

Hey, business owners, even if they are black, can't just go around executing black children. It won't take too many of these events to have Bareback Jackson and other black racist thugs protesting against merchants who are armed.

In most inner city neghborhoods across they country, there are few retail stores for just this reason. Shop lifting and armed robbery by local kids make it impossible to run a business. Local activists complain and some large chains may move in, if granted public money, but quickly give up when they get robbed a couple of times and inventory walks out the door.

Exhibiting excellent gun control. Gun control should be promoted everywhere. States should pass laws requiring hand and long gun training in all public schools. A demonstration of proficiency should be required in order to register to vote.

Just when you're about to give up and jump, a rare piece of justice and wisdom on the part of the DA.

I recall a previous Indianapolis incident in which a couple of robbers a little too giddy with their success at a couple of package liquor store robberies decided to celebrate by holding up a gas station for dessert, and maybe having a little fun with the female employee while they were at it. Unbeknownst to them, she was the wife of a Marion County sheriff's deputy as I recall, and was well trained, and killed both in the process.

Then there was the Indianapolis juvie with the knife who tried to attack the owner of a gun shop being burglarized, who had not one but two Heckler and Koch MP5 submachineguns ready for such an eventuality, one silenced...and emptied both. There will be no further crimes committed by that miscreant either, now having been shown the error of his ways.

Indianapolis was such a fun place to reside. But I like it here in Memphis, too.

That's right! We'll put that ballot 25 feet out, and you aim and fire at the candidate of your choice. If you leave any hanging chads, you will have to upgrade to a larger caliber weapon.
