The Dutch foreign minister Jaap de Hoop Scheffer is to ask the Saudi ambassador for clarification concerning financial support to radical Muslims.
The ambassador is to be summoned following pressure from the government's coalition members. Last week, the interior minister Johan Remkes claimed Saudi Arabia was sending money to radical Islamic groups all over the world, including the Netherlands.
It is unclear whether Mr de Hoop Scheffer will speak personally to the ambassador, or when the meeting will take place. The minister leaves for the United States tomorrow on a visit due to last several days.

Dutch f.m. shouldn't talk, should just shoot the Saudi bastard.
Start just shooting these Saudis and maybe then they'd get the message.
The world is tired of their lying murdering B.S.

The Dutch have a large Muslim immigrant problem, however, they've started cracking down on the S.O.B.'s. Odd coming from such a left-wing country, but maybe they're gettin' a little smart.

Odd coming from such a left-wing country, but maybe they're gettin' a little smart. Liberals who have just been mugged tend to turn conservative. There is nothing like the contemplation of your imminent destruction to focus the mind on reality.

The Dutch tend to be fiscally conservative and socially libertarian. However, an 18 year prison sentence for the assasin that killed the (can't remember his name) gay presidential candidate was a true faux pas.
