Drudge had a "developing" headline with no link on this earlier. Now it's gone. Hmmmm.

Yeah... what about that big plan for Franken to take in Rush in the radio?

I'm really surprised at all the Hannity bashing on here. No wonder he gets peeved with FR sometimes. Yeah, he gets a little worked up, but Sean is as sincere as the day is long.

I too appreciated Colmes laying off the sedition during the war. But I HATE watching him interview. He asks the worst leading questions I've ever heard: "Do you think it's right for our troops to go in and kill Iraqi citizens to feed our oil habit?" Stuff like that. Does it all the time.

Had to listen to a little of his radio show the other night when Savage was on break. Was interviewing the diabolical communist KUCINICH. The slurping and smacking from their little liberal love-in was unlistenable.

I understand what you are saying but it still is exclusive to those who believe. If you dont believe in Christ, then you arent going to be saved. That is exclusive. Liberals whine that Christianity doesnt allow bending of this very narrow road to salvation. Sorry if you disagree.

>What ever happened to the left-wing plan to pit Al Franken against Rush on talk radio.

This is probably all part of the plan leading up to the eventual debut of the program (not sure when it's slated to start). I can imagine the thought process running along these lines - okay we want Al Franken to be the voice of Liberals, so why not get him some free publicity while at the same time confronting and shouting down another liberal voice, especially one who is despised by many on the left and thereby making him (Franken) appear all the better by comparison. Plus i think they're wanting to show that Franken will be very strident in his attacks against the Right or for that matter against any liberal who isn't aggressive/venomous enough (a la Colmes, which is why i believe he is scorned by most liberals).

I certainly don't think that Hannity means it in a rude or disrespectful way. It's just his natural way of talking.

He probably picked it up during his time in Atlanta. "Hey!" is much more common than "Hi!" in the South.

Alan Colmes is a decent guy. He gets a little worked up sometimes, like when he's defending Clinton, but he has a quieter delivery than Hannity. He makes his points though (even if he is almost always wrong). I suspect he has way more smarts than Al Franken.

LOL--Alan Colmes and Salacious Crumb!!

Perhaps episodes like these will help Alan come into the light (become a conservative and/or Republican). It was dishonest, vicious, and hypocritical behavior by other leftists which helped Dennis Miller come into the light, you know.

Yep. His recent book on Christianity's part in ending slavery is bound to cause him a bit of heat too.

Anybody think Hannity won't be extending an invitation to Franken @ 3:01 pm EST today to come on the show and take up Colmes' slack?

If I were Hannity I would. If Franken's performance were on tape, I'd play it for the world to see with Franken powerless to do a thing about it.

Of course there would be burley guards handy to mete some wooden shampoo should Franken go beserk during or after the show.

I have heard Alan insist he never reads the talking point emails he receives..........however, it is no accident that he parrots those same talking points at every turn.

The show is stale and definitely needs a new format.......it is too predictable and the guests are boring too.

I love Hannity too. But, I have to agree with you, that at times he relies more on emotions than presenting a good argument. And he never, never, concedes that he may be wrong!

Some arguments are best presented from an emotional perspective, rather than be purely logical. It makes sense from a rhetorical perspective, and there are some values-driven arguments that are intrinsically emotional.

> I will not concede that Liberals ever have a good point. name one!

I couldn't name one,
just to make conversation.
So I searched the web

to get details on
just what "liberals" really
believe in their hearts.

Check out what I found --
(They make themselves sound like us!
If this summary

was what they lived by,
liberals might be okay.
But this is unreal:

"Our Liberal Values

We reaffirm our commitment to the principles of Liberalism set out in the International Liberal Manifesto of April 1947: that liberty and individual responsibility are the foundations of civilised society; that the state is only the instrument of the citizens it serves; that any action of the state must respect the principles of democratic accountability; that constitutional liberty is based upon the principles of separation of powers; that justice requires that in all criminal prosecution, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, and to a fair verdict free from any political influence; that state control of the economy and private monopolies both threaten political liberty; that rights and duties go together, and that every citizen has a moral responsibility to others in society; and that a peaceful world can only be built upon respect for these principles and upon co-operation among democratic societies. We reaffirm that these principles are valid throughout the world." [The Liberal Agenda for the 21st Century]

I wonder if Hannity & Colmes (especially Colmes) will be discussing this incident tonight.

NO commentary by Hannity & Colmes on the Franken incident tonight. Since that incident involved Colmes, it is very strange that they were MUM on this. WHY????
