Liberal talk radio was DOA. It's a bad sign when you have to put out a call for investors because you can't get any legitimate sponsors. Sounds like they couldn't get any investors, either.

Maybe because Colmes showed a little class and didn't criticize the president during the war.

Is Franken the guy who chased Sean Hannity down the hallway after an appearance on H&C, yelling at him the entire way? Whoever it was, he called the next day to apologize for his behavior. Seemed like Sean said it was Franken, but I could be wrong...

I was wondering whatever happened to Skeletor.
To: SamAdams76
"whatever happened to that much-hyped liberal talk show network? " They're trying to work it into the negotiating of terms for Baghdad Bob's surrender.

When "Politically Incorrect" died, Al "don't call me the Rev" Franken's career options became severely limited. Nobody has had the guts to tell him he ain't funny, because he threatened to scream at them. I guess Alan didn't get the message. I think he can still get a job in a Mike Moore movie, if he promises not to scream. Mike does all the screaming in his movies.

"Why would he be shouting at Colmes?"He just wanted him to know that...

I think Franken did do that, but I'm not sure. Sounds like this guy has a real Sean Penn violence complex going on. He probably gets belligerent off of two beers. I'd love to see somebody clock him.

No kidding. We are very tolerant of experts from other countries, but should not we expect such an intellectual giantess to speekee dee Eenglish? She was such a dud. I guess being married to a homosexual made her a bit tense.

Al Franken is a Rush wannabe.
The day will never dawn when he can even mar the surface of the Rush show.
Only a mother could love him.
I would like to buy him for what he is worth and sell him for what he thinks he is worth.
No lottery could come close.

"...Franken's career options became severely limited."...especially when his one and only movie, "Stuart Saves His Family," completely tanked, grossing about 900K.

Franken is a physical bully. By chance, I walked behind hin down Ninth Avenue a few years back and--though short--he is built like a linebacker.
This is the guy who challenged a skinny guy from the National Review to a fist fight (I think it was Lowry). He wants to get it on physically--that's his MO--the POS.

Well, my pastor - a very strong man who happens to be black, very articulate, and quite conservative - debated Franken on a panel once. The topic was Bill and Hillary Clinton. After the discussion was over (and I do not think this was my imagination - I've got it on tape), Franken was shooting some very nasty looks across the stage. It appeared to me that he can't tolerate being disagreed with.

Franken is a physical bully.I have no trouble at all believing that.
Fortunately, my pastor (who debated him on television - see #58) is an ex-Dallas Cowboy defensive lineman. Maybe that's why Franken seemed so frustrated on the show. : )
